@@teh_longinatorLook up any bts and you see them doing just as much stunt work as any marvel actor or non comic actor in a television show or movie. Stephen Amell is a huge one. Stunt work being done by an actor is determined by an actors chance of injuring himself on the job and delaying production. So Ruby would have a higher chance for even the minor stunts such as grappling (wire work) which she would normally do, or certain fighting moves. All stuff she would normally do.

Depending on the contract. She may have gotten insurance through the project but you still have to file it through the insurance & they choose what they will cover. Some projects are different & will cover medical expenses but that's usually after the project is deemed profitable. It's not always black & white. I know b/c I've worked on films.

Actors doing their own stunt work sounds cool on paper, but if they get injured at all the studio has to pay for whatever medical attention they’ll need/the entire production has to be paused so they can heal. Tom Cruise has at times had to insure himself because the studio wouldn’t let him do his own stunts. Have u seen “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”? There’s a scene where the importance of a stunt double is explained

Yes, she obviously has a good deal of money but theres strict schedules that come with contracts for movie making. She probably didn't have much say in it after she had the 'recommended' amount of resting time after the surgery.
Actors schedules are hectic when they are shooting. It's basically non-stop for months, long days etc. But then once it's over they are free to do what they want.
TV Series regulars have a super tough schedule especially. They gotta shoot up to 20+ episodes PER YEAR.

At first, I was really angry. I was like "She is such a good actor, and I LOVE her on the show!". But, after this talk she had, I can understand the fear she must have felt. I am so glad she prioritized her health.
