Beautiful children , beautiful horses and beautiful family!
I LOVE the fact that this is a family event and that you train your own horses and teaching you own kids. ❤ It seems that for some folks, social status and spending the most money is their focus instead. You’re making memories that will last forever, and that’s worth more than any amount of money.
Very enjoyable watch. First time seeing fox trotters in a horse show. Thanks so much for sharing
Congratulations! You all did so well, horses and riders, all. Thanks for posting. You have every right to be proud.
It is refreshing to see parents teach sportsmanship as you do. Judging is subjective by nature, and nobody wins all the time.
I particularly enjoyed hearing your honest evaluation of the horses in each class. Whiplash Wilma is a tough one to beat, but even she is not unbeatable.
You have three beautiful children and gorgeous horses. What could be better?
Thank you for this peek into another part of the horse world that I've never seen! Looked like a great week for your whole family!
Your greatest accomplishment is your family! With everything going on in the world, seeing such a beautiful family working together, doing something they so obviously love, and the support for each other is so wonderful to see. You all are truly Blessed to have each other. You all SHINE!
Show Sheen! What a blast from the past! My kids were in 4H in northern Michigan in the 90s. This show you are at here reminds me of County Fair week in July. It was my kids' favorite time of the year, next to Christmas!
Excellent video. Congratulations to you all.
Congratulations to the Family of winners! Awesome Presentation,👍👍
❤ Great showing!! All the hard work for horse and riders and the whole family showed here. Congratulations!!! Lord bless all of you..animals and farm.
Okay I know I'm late but anyway the way her tail was riding so high when Jr rode her and won first place. Was awesome
We so loved being next to you at the stalls! I was amazed at how well the kids (young adults) behaved, respected their parents, their siblings! What a family you and Mary have! Your work/training with horses show you know how to get the best they can do.JOB
WELL DONE! ready for next spring g!!
Enjoyed the show with your narration was spot on... Thanks for sharing... Congratulation on a Great Showing
What a wonderful and informative commentary! I thoroughly enjoyed the personal touch.
Wow it is really wonderful that your family shares this interest and really seems to actually enjoy doing it together. It takes a lot of effort to have such good relationships with your children. It is also clear that all of you love and respect your animals
I’m proud of your family and the lord has blessed you with some talent and gifted daughters and son. May the continue to anointed each and everyone of you.
You must be so proud of your amazing kids and horses. Winners all! What a wonderful, exciting video. 💙💙💙💙😍💙💙💙
Beautiful family, glad you love your horses. I can't believe how hard the horses have to work to win shows.
They really do. They are athletes! Most our horses love it and want to work hard with us.
What a beautiful family great job!!! And how proud are mom and dad God bless!!
Great job!
Great showing Issac Becka and Mary. Ok Jr too 🙂

I knew nothing about this breed before I found your channel. What sweet graceful horses! They have such great tail carriage, and of course their natural gait.
Love your horses and love your videos! You have a great family team! Congratulations to all of you🎉🎉🎉
Have not seen these magnificent Fox trotters in Canada. Could use them in our cross Canada trails! Enjoying your exposure and family involvement.

I had a fox trotter and in my youth they were my favorite ride...smoooooooooth. They are great little horses..

Your family pics u put together at the end were charming & really tugged at my heart. All of you are blessed graciously.
Great job to your entire family worked together to help one another out at show and it paid off for the years work to get ready for this show. Congratulations to each ribboned earned and so much success to your family well deserved. Your horses gave their all a lot to be proud of you trained and road your own horses.
I appreciate your channel so much! I always rode hunter/jumpers and never gained any knowledge of gaited horses. I always made sure I caught all of the gaited classes at the American Royal (I’m originally from Kansas City, Mo). I’ve always thought they are such beautiful horses! I love the way they move! Thank you for sharing!
Whiplash Wilma has the tail cut. I think, I love watching your horses and how much you care about your kids and horses. I just found you channel and I love it! I would love to ride a gaited horse, maybe someday. Ty for sharing!! ❤️
@Karen Bailey some big lick riders cut the tail so it sticks up a certain way. I wasn't correct in this case. But I thought maybe.
This was awesome! I have never watched a horse show before. I know this is a little bit of an older video (let's say, pre Oliver), and my first time seeing Miss Mary! Very beautiful and talented family.
So proud of your family at that show they all showed very very well
awesome great video , love the story telling commentry
Congratulations to each of the kids and their horses. Very well done. I wish I could make a gentle, well-meaning suggestion without being misunderstood, but it's probably best just to wish you all the very best if you continue to compete.
I absolutely love your family.
Well done to you all. Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Your dad sent me. I subbed.
Love it ! Your Girls are Amazing great Job ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the color
Wow! You girls are doing a stellar job with your horses! They are so very beautiful!
Thank you for showing "behind the scenes" I had no idea shows could be so enjoyable. And thank you for address the awful terrible soring and chains that some awful terrible people implement.
❤❤
LOVE the fast mo of he baths
I really enjoyed this entire video.
What a beautiful blessed family. 🤗👍❤
27:23 That's called working your animal above its threshold in dog training, it's absolutely a necessity in training any animal, well done!!
Good show !
Bravo
Very impressive rides for all three of you. Beautiful horses
Congrats on everyone’s great performances and all your wins. Yours horses are so beautiful.
Well-done concatenation 🎉 good jop 👌👌👌🥇🥇🥇
Well done, all of you, great results for all your hard work, you are naturals and i love watching you train and ride your horses 🙏✅ Sending my love and best wishes from Switzerland 💞😘🙋🏻♀️
I think I recognize barn 5! Elmo and Mary had the first couple of stalls and St Louis Regional club jad the stalls next to Elmo and Mary. I always had the first of the St L Regional stalls, right next to Elmo’s, and we had a lot of fun times.
Great job Becca you did great especially since you and your pony you’re not pony your horse are so young you did great honey👏 👏. 🐴. 🐎 🐴
I was asked to see tour Chanel by tour dad and subscribe.
Wow, I can tell I'm way more used to Western riding of thirty years ago and know nothing of Fox trotters. I've learned a lot about how you ride them and how they move. It all leads me to believe that a horse I had years ago was part fox triggers as he had some gaits to him.
We are from Ava and they bring a lot of business here. Love the foxtrotters
Nice horses and excellent rides! As an old riding instructor... If Becka could work on her lower leg, sinking her weight more into that heel and using her ankle as the shock absorber, it would eliminate the jiggle at the foxtrot, lock her down a bit tighter into the saddle and improve Ozarks performance. She works amazingly well at the flat walk already because Becka is tighter (more in sync) in the saddle at the slower gait. When she moves up into the foxtrot you can see that she is more focused on the horse and loses that contact because of it. It is a trainer riding. She needs to really work and focus on that heel drop at home to make it muscle memory and with the resulting saddle contact focus on driving that little horse on with her hips and not her legs. When the jiggle is gone and the rider is deep in the saddle and tight with the horse the mare won't be needing to think about her rider and will really open up and stride. They will be an unbeatable combination at that point!
@@homesteadhorsemanship While it is cold and nasty out... have her watch some dressage on UA-cam. Specifically the extended trot. You are trying to engage that back end and push forward while lightening up the front for reach in the perfect foxtrot. That is exactly the same thing they are trying to accomplish at upper levels of dressage with the extended trot. When I was still showing and training we often video taped ourselves, so we could see exactly how our body position was and visualize how to correct it. The camera doesn't lie. I am always happy to help a good horseman get even better.
These are gorgeous horses, but they seem so small. And many of the riders just look huge on them. I feel bad for these horses carrying these people around.
Congratulations even tho it's late for me to say ! 🙂
This is a great video!! You have such a cool family, JR. ... PS: It's not often i hear the word DELUGE pronounced correctly. Thank you!
This is such a fun video. I loved watching you all at the show, and how JR is so sincerely humble about how gifted your entire family is! I've never seen Fox Trotters compete so this was all totally new. I had Quarter Horse who loved to jump. It makes me want to book a vacation at your B&B and take a few lessons. Does Emery show too? And and going to search your videos to see if there's one with your family history. If not, I'd love to know more about JR's grandparents and how this became the family trade.
Your children did a wonderful job, and Jr. too! The cheering and clapping doesn’t bother the horse or rider?
I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW MUCH BOUNCING BECCA DID AT THE FOX TROT. FOR SOME REASON I THOUGHT YOU COULD USE A FLAT SADDLE FOR GAITED HORSES WITH NO BOUNCE.
JR watching you on Lucky I thought you should have raised your head a bit more like you did on the victory lap.
Thx for explaining what's foxtrot means..🎉❤🎉I had really never saw this.. for me foxtrot looks almost like "big lick tenessee horses" only looks like.. for me the tölt from the islandic horse looks smoother..lol.. but..but..I never rode a foxtrotter..
It's strange how this breed stands with front legs not squared underneath them but far under their belly, at a slant and rear legs the same direction towards their belly. I've never seen any horse stand this way.
Very educational. First experience seeing MJT's show. Riders look comfortable and horses are smooth. However, the bobbing heads look very odd to me. In general, horse showing has always seemed like too much effort and expense to me. It's being out in nature on a good horse, alone or not, that really relaxes me. Also love the babies and training.
I'm from Texas, and we always ride with our heels down. Why do most of the riders ride with their heels up?
Many eons ago, i had an apendix paint ( no spots just socks and blaze) she was a beautiful deep shiny red.and gorgeous. I won alot in the trail class, ( spice bar bailey qh.) I could never get more than 4th in western pleasure , free style i did great, . The girl who almost always took first place , her horse came up lame, so, i let her show my little mare. She won! So , i guess its not always the horse the judges are looking at. Lol i just didnt ride as well as her. She "borrowed" her to teach her to ride english, and do dressage, and taught her how to barell race ( i only did trail..but she competed alot on my mare. I also learned new skills,.( How to ride English, ) that was over 30 years ago.
No offence meant but that is a really strange gait. The head bob is so unusual. I had never heard of this breed before. I admire your dedication to maintaining the breed.
Is the toes pointing down a way to ride fox trotters? I know nothing about them?
Foxtrotted
What is judged when y'all show your horses? I'm sure it depends on the class you're showing in.
Is seat belts not legal in America?
Thank You God and the State of Missouri that you have standards in place to protect the horses from abuse for your shows! I've learned about "soring" in regards to Tennessee Walkers---and it's barbaric that in this day and age anyone would choose to treat their horses in such a way. Glad to know your beautiful Fox Trotters don't endure that.
Beautifully said Star Dust. 🙏🏻
That was very impressive. I in joyed watching. GodBless. Congratulations
