You know, I've never seen anyone set up cards in a showcase like that. Cool idea and looks sweet. I could have bought several showcases around 2007 for $75 each and passed. I regret it. What a haul of freebies! Love the Griffey inserts. Adam is evidently a very generous guy!
Thanks! I love the display cases. I wanted to own a card shop when I was a kid, so this is as close as I could get. Adam is amazingly generous. Thanks for watching and commenting, my friend.
@@billyballgamesportscards I hear you, brother! Same exact thing for me, I wanted a card shop/video store set-up but it seems like a dream at this point. Always a pleasure, buddy!
Great video Mayham. Awesome trade with Chris, great gifts from Adam and love the showcase with cards upright. If ever you need more top loads, let me know. I have some good used I can send. Nice that you are putting a dent on your 1960 set.
Nice trade! I was up till 2 am last night organizing and sorting cards. I have an Ankiel but I'd have to do like you, go pull cards to find it. Can you do your sets in binder pages?
Yeah, Doug, I definitely got the better end of that deal! I have thought about putting them in binders, but I had a lot of cards damaged from binders, so I don't know if I'll do that or not. They look awesome in binders, though, for sure.
The best way to store a set in binders is with the binder laying flat on the shelf. I've made special shelving for mine. Let me know if you ever want to see pics.
I hope this advice is somewhat helpful. I'm mainly a set collector of junk wax era stuff. Besides that, I'll buy a key card for my personal collection. Most of my stuff is ungraded as a whole. The easiest way I've found is to keep your cards boxed by year together. You can have all your commons together. Then just sleeve the star cards up and place them all in the same box. Having them in order is best, but the first option for a non set building person makes it easy to find stuff.
Chris seems like a generous guy. Great video and thanks for sharing!
He absolutely is! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Well done 👍 🎉
Thanks!

No doubt about it, Orlando! Thanks for watching my friend.

@@danielbernier6095 I've thought about it. Binders just freak me out. I had a lot of cards get ruined in binders as a kid.
Good stuff Billy! I’d say you came out on top with the trade from Chris! 😂
Very generous package from your friend Adam!
Absolutely to both! Thanks for watching and commenting, Jim!
Great trade! 😂😂😂 Yeah, I wouldn’t mind making a few trades with this Chris from Missouri guy…
Nice video!
Thanks, Professor! He really is a good dude and a great friend. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Glad you resemble Macho Man Randy Savage.

What kind of case is that / where did you get it? It looks sooo great!
It's just a display case, I have no idea what kind, honestly. I got it from the school I teach at.
I think by year and then by set and then mix the stars and hall of famers is how I do it
Thanos for the suggestion! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
