- Chocolate production starts with harvesting coca in a forest. Cocoa comes from tropical evergreen Cocoa trees, such as Theobroma Cocoa, which grow in the wet lowland tropics of Central and South America, West Africa and Southeast Asia (within 20 C of the equator) (Walter,1981) . Cocoa needs to be harvested manually in the forest. The seed pods of coca will first be collected; the beans will be selected and placed in piles. These cocoa beans will then be ready to be shipped to the manufacturer for mass production.

I hope the people working hard to grow, harvest, and process the cocoa get paid as well as the fancy man who looks at chocolate at a close up angle. Without cocoa there is no chocolate
And the factory workers, and the hazelnut farmers, and hell, the sugar cane farmers too
In the real world doubt so , and anyways as farmers they don’t make the same scale as money compared to let’s say big business who sell at a much much higher market price making much more profit..
Farmers do however deserve the right to earn what they deserve

So that’s how heavenly chocolate is made.
I went to Italy 10 years ago on a tour and on the way to Switzerland for a day tour saw the Lindt factory. Our tour guide told us about the beautiful choccies from Switzerland and we should definitely buy some. When we realised the tour guide was referring to Lindt we didn’t bother for 2 reasons, it was 36 degrees C ( approx 98 deg F) and we can buy them at home in the supermarket.

I remember buying Lindt chocolate bar or truffles with discounts at Target during my college life. They were only $2.5 and the moment I had one bite, I immediately knew it is not a store quality. I didnt know much about fancy chocolates but I still knew Lindt was on the top. I miss those days. I really appreciated Lindt tastes.

I have experienced the highs and lows of chocolate making. Where I grew up, field trips to HersheyPark were a yearly treat. Then my dad's job took us to Europe, 5 minutes away from a Lady Godiva place. If someone gives me Hershey, I will thank them and eat it, but not with the joy of eating real chocolate. Dark chocolate Lindor is my favorite now.

There's a Lindt & Sprungli© factory in NH. They make a lot of chocolate balls there, and I always wanted them to try and make "Chocolate Maple Syrup Bacon Balls!". I've made some strange creations by accident. Like having Franch toast and bacon for breakfast while going to add more maple syrup to my toast, and accidentally grabbing the Hershey's chocolate syrup. For me, it was an unexpected but great-tasting flavor profile. So New England is known for maple syrup and our love for bacon. Why not make a Lindt© "Chocolate Maple Syrup Bacon Ball!"

I didn't know they make chocolate bunnies
The red ribbons are for milk chocolate, dark brown ribbon is for dark chocolate and white ribbons on the bunnies are for white chocolate. They sell them in Australia every Easter. They also do mini rabbits that come with carrot shaped chocolates in the same box.

Some Chocolate makers make their bars a bit too sweet IMO.
Lindt 99% chocolate is a cheat, only 50g in the 100g size wrapper, yet the 95% slab is still 100g.

Cacao is fibers too but...not that much. I hope you don't have any allergy reaction to the chocolate in general, I never heard of such reaction, only if someone ate 10 boxes at one time. Check your health or appreciate your quick metabolism -.which will make you avoid having obesity issues... . But if it's not the case, check your health, really,may be nothing,may be a symptom of something we don't even think of sometimes. Come on, we know it's just a normal factory that makes very nice chocolate. We know the guys in the Lindt chef hat and apron looking at the chocolate are just for show. 😂...It's nice to imagine the every chocolate from a company that's popular around the world is hand crafted by a master chef, but we know that it's not true. The same as Willy Wonka ain't real.
