Thanks Tidge! Driving this car is like wrestling with a washing machine!! It is almost impossible to drive it in any smooth manner. It is about as graceless as...ooh...I don't know...Godzilla :P
Great video, Tidge!! As always, a huge thank you for making these guides! I usually get gold around 90% of the time chasing your ghosts around the tracks!
I had a good 2 hours last night and actually enjoyed the driving for the first time since the last update. The breaking was a lot more controlled, feedback on a 5nm DDpro was very confusing to me the last few months and I didn't enjoy the driving. But I Coughton on things last night. Did a few TT's a d all the weekly races(even they were annoying)
The new GTR does drive nicely for the standard road car with sports tyres. Thanks for adding the km/h cause clearly even mp/h confuses you lol 😂 Lovin the “ever improving” content 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the guide! Must be nice to be you and do the time trial in like 25-30 minutes 😎 I hope its slightly easier than the previous time trials at Laguna Seca in the merc and the red bull at Grand Valley.. but it looks like this gold medal will again take a bunch of hours 😄
I’ve literally put almost 30 hours into trying to get gold on this and have been helplessly stuck on silver for the last 20 hours. I’ve watched your “guide” at least 100 times. I’ve tried following your ghost, and about a dozen others. The lowest lap time I can get is 1:35:52. I can’t tell
In this situation when you're looking to try improve it may be worth looking at Coach Dave Delta (I'm not just saying this because I am partnered with them). It will show the inputs and how they vary vs mine for example. I use to do this with spreadsheets and sector times if you prefer to do that and then focus on just 1 corner.
They could add koengsegg, saleem, Land Rover, BYD and others. They could change the car damage during the races to be like you can break your car if you hit something, break engine, gear, etc
Many is an understatement. Lol. Classics and race versions included, there are now 19 GTRs in GT7. I don't have an issue with that in particular, it'd just be a nice change to get something different. It's always either JDM or Vision GT cars. It's becoming extremely stale.
6:30 ABS set to default. Is there a general 'rule' which better guides which cars in GT7 should have ABS on or off? I have a similar question regarding A.S.M settings for the various cars and categories of cars too.. especially with regards to driving in auto vs manual (as i really struggle using manual with my G29 wheel). Thanks Tidgney 👍
I would never drive with ABS off. But generally it's whether you feel understeer under braking. ABS Weak is now better in this latest patch after discovering in the stream that happened.
Does anyone know how to make your own ghost available to follow in time trials? Like when you’re scrolling the leaderboard and you see the symbol for replay.
You can't unfortunately. But, you can save it in your personal items and then post it for public use...but, it will not be on the leaderboard for public use. You have to go to your saved replays and then post it.
Hi Tidgney, that is a very good video! Now I know my mistakes. Could you tell me what kind of car assist settings you are using - ABS, ASM, TC level? What would be the best in your opinion for best times?
@@tidgney thanks! And one more question. Do you think the upgrade of t3pa standard pedals from the T300rsgt set into t-lcm pedals is a reasonable to feel the breaks and throttle better? Have you got a chance as well to compare t-lcm vs fanatec v3 pedals? Would that be a big difference ? And one more question 😊 Could you tell me if as a beginner sim racer it is worth to go directly into direct drive like fanatec dd pro or extreme to achieve better lap times or should I rather polish my skills and train on the existing standard t300rsg with standard pedals?

Thanks, your the man, gold has gotten way easy`er following you around the track and watching your take on the lap! THANKS! :D
Singing "Port-a-Loo" to the tune of Van Halen's Panama is my new favorite hobby.
Hahaha sorry!
I want them to add new cars. Another gtr is not what I meant 😂
Monkey paw wish granted, you got what you asked for, but not what you meant 😂
Yeah something like a HONDA CRX 91 OR 94 MX3 MAZDA😊
McMurty! Haha so true
Womp womp
Thanks again Tidgney. Able to get in the gold range after watching your video.

Thanks for the video 😊
Super thanks Tidge. Right off to Germany it is then to try and crack gold.
Cheers Tidney 👍🏻 although am I the only who can’t help but sing ‘pooorrttaallooo’ at the last corner on every single lap 🙈🤣

As long as you enjoy them as you go! :D
Thanks mate
Thank you!

If I’m that bad at this dumb ass game or you’re just a shit teacher so I’m going to lookup another guide fucking Christ

I know people of which GT-Rs are a thing, they see a difference. It looks like a few other ones I already have to me.

BYD? r u serious 🤣?

Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🏎✅️
This car is so horrible to drive. Understeer into oversteer. It heavy, doesn't turn at all and the rear is as loose as it can be...
Ha ha portaaalooo

keep on going, i too struggeld. But i did catch on and now i only drive manual. G29 here too

This is what it feels like to drive a brick 🤔
Would you do a pad lap using Auto, would be interested to see what you get as a benchmark
I used to do that but felt that everyone should venture towards manual so just do a manual pad reference lap now.
@@tidgney That is the plan. Hope to move to an edge controller soon as find the buttons on the pad a bit tricky to hit
No TT for the Genesis ?
Tidge, what traction control did you use for this one?

The gtr’s in gt7 are some of the worst cars to drive. And this horrible racetrack! I can’t even get silver on this one and its so frustrating.

If you do get a top 10 time it will show on the leaderboard, but other than that you have to save your own ghost replay.
How do I get the tyre temperatures displayed?
It's a 3rd party app and a video is coming soon (Next 2 weeks).
No time trial guide for the French shit circuit yet?
Apologies if there's delays, emergencies can happen at work, but they'll always be one.
@@tidgney Thats true. I had a hard time with it, but hopefully enough for gold. Wil you do the snow time trial?
Its soooo dificult to dooo well i am 13 sooo i think i have a skill issue
Practice makes perfect though, keep at it!
Hi Tidgney, that is a very good video! Now I know my mistakes. Could you tell me what kind of car assist settings you are using - ABS, ASM, TC level? What would be the best in your opinion for best times?
Hello! The only assist I use is ABS and I mention the level I use in the video on the chase cam lap.
