Modders are a blessing to QOL in games. Things that should have come vanilla are added in by these majestic creatures out here putting passion back into the community. We're all real lucky to have "em. 🍻

I don't really like the bank robbery one. In the story bank robberies took a lot of gang members and actual planning, so being able do them all willy nilly kinda takes away from the storyline in my opinion.
6:07 The euphoria ragdoll physics are baked into Rockstars engine. They’re in GTA V and RDR2 as well. They’re toned down since the full rag dolls are cpu taxing. Not a criticism but I think that fact is neat.

Modding might make the game feel different and new, but the naive feeling i had when playing RDR2 for the first time will never come back when i know what's gonna happen. it's really hard to explain how the game felt when i first played it, other than the world was beautiful and it just made me feel good in a way. Then i continued playing the game and wow... the fucking feels hit big time!

If you ask me, rockstar should look at some of the mods mentioned in this video, and take from it and add it to thier next installment, OR a new huge rdr2 update, with a dlc. It'll make a lot of players in the rdr2 community happy story mode players and online. This is a great game that could have been 5x better. But they'd rather focus on a decade old gta5
I would like to see rdr1 remastered for PC and then rdr3 maybe taking place in like civil war times or something. Going back to true old west where the first 2 games were really the end and the total end of the old west. It's finally time for me to crack down on RDR2, mod it into the real cowboy rp game that I've always wanted. Don't get me wrong, I love RDR2's story, but I really just wanna be my own cowboy just focused on surviving.
5:01 You should mention that the companions have god mode.. just because of that, it simply breaks immersion.. One time, a shootout occured in St Denise, my companion took 100 bullets and singlehandedly shot and killed all the cops.. At this point I prefer to just spawn a companion with Rampage trainer or any other trainer. That way you can adjust if you want to give them weapons, how much health, the type of clothes,..etc
*-Basic Needs* is a great mod because it fixes a issue with RDR2's core gameplay loop IMO which is its lack of commitment to its survival aspects redenering them as frivolous immersive features rather than necessary mechanics. *-WhyEM DLC* greatly expands upon what is already a great customization system but that in retrospect, is kinda limited. It highlights many classic WESTERN outfits/articles of clothing are missing from the vanilla game. *-Maverick Weapons and Catalog* fixes several issues with RDR2's gunplay like the excessive weapon sway and falloff that made it unbalanced and not as responsive as it should've been. It's clear just by seeing videos how much more fluid and cinematic the it makes the shooting, like Django's climactic battle scene. *-Companion System* was one of the biggest cut features from RDR2 and would've provided a vital aspect to the gang dynamic and gave us the chance to spend more time with sidelined characters like Javier, Bill, Uncle or even ones that should've gotten more screen time with Arthur, like John. It allowed us to rob banks, collected debt, went fishing, or hang out in town to play poker at the saloon with any gang member. *-More Pretty Gun and More Engraving* similarly to WhyEM is a great selection that only serves to highlight how, while cool, basic a lot of the weapon engravings we got in the game are compared to some of the badass ones we get in the mod. *-Authentic Euphoria Motions/Bloodlust WhyEM/Cut dialogue* is a mod that RDR2 GREATLY benefits from because even after a handful of playthroughs, it becomes clear how repetitive they are compared to the dynamic physics in RDR1 and GTAIV. Plus, the combat dialogue would've fit Arthur very well and added intensity to the shootouts as John have savage ones in RDR1. *-More Jobs and Smaller Business* could've worked as a side thing Arthur does to gain the gang more income but I don't think buyable houses fits in RDR2. Unless they're small shacks that Arthur uses as a safehouse when chased by lawmen and away from camp, it doesn't make sense for him to buy houses when he lives with the gang and provides for them. *-Bounty Hunting Expanded and Enhanced* addresses an issue with both RDR2 and GTA V where a lot of the side-activities and jobs can only be played a set number of times compared to the radiant systems in older R* games like 3D GTA, Bully or RDR1. *-All the John Marston Mods* have been praised and talked about ad nauseam so I'll just say that it's amazing what the modding community has accomplished since the release of the game to give us a John that looks even better than what Rockstar had initially in the BETA IMO.

There needs to be a proper survival mod with realistic hunger, stamina, temperature and sleep. Make it so surviving in the north mountains is actually realistic and catching food matters. If you get too hungry or sleep deprived you slow down in movement and potentially pass out etc
I want this in RDO so it actually feels like my character who's hunting and surviving, not just a random Arthur 😂 or even a mod where we can play as a hunter type character rather than Arthur if we don't feel like doing story stuff
The companion aspect seem to be a missed opportunity. If they do a prequel to the prequel, they should add this feature and also where you can recruit men for the gang. Assassins creed brotherhood.
Someone seriously needs to make some sort of a Mafia mod for this game. I feel like Saint Denis is really underrated and not really used in this game, I think a complex mod where you can join the Saint Denis mob, similar to "The Mob" mod for GTA 5 would be very cool.
I realized that Rango & Arthur are the same person think about it. both were fools but eventually and abruptly got hit with reality they receive wisdom from a wise person to be the best version of themselves, learned their lesson, and set a positive foundation for there friends.

Nice video. But do you know a mod that gives the player as much health as an npc? It's kind of unimmersive that you can just walk through gunfire and not die. And perhaps a mod that removes the crosshair so that you shot like an npc. Because rdr2 is just way too easy.
Get the PED Damage Overhaul mod. There's different versions for how realistic you want it to be and you can edit player health, npc health and almost any other setting. Very customizable
Probably because while free roaming as a posse, some of the main npc’s would eventually be killed in a shootout and they didn’t want to alter or break the emersion of the main storyline. I could be wrong tho

Rampage trainer drops my FPS from 130 to 45 - anyone know of a fix for this?

As a console player, I still find new ways to enjoy the game, and I can’t imagine having a pc to enjoy it even more
get a steam deck. its a much cheaper entry into pc gaming and rdr2 runs great on it

I want this in RDO so it actually feels like my character who's hunting and surviving, not just a random Arthur 😂 or even a mod where we can play as a hunter type character rather than Arthur if we don't feel like doing story stuff

The companion aspect seem to be a missed opportunity. If they do a prequel to the prequel, they should add this feature and also where you can recruit men for the gang. Assassins creed brotherhood.
I’m pretty sure it was actually cut content. There’s even voice lines for all the characters you can take with you.
Someone seriously needs to make some sort of a Mafia mod for this game. I feel like Saint Denis is really underrated and not really used in this game, I think a complex mod where you can join the Saint Denis mob, similar to "The Mob" mod for GTA 5 would be very cool.

I realized that Rango & Arthur are the same person think about it. both were fools but eventually and abruptly got hit with reality they receive wisdom from a wise person to be the best version of themselves, learned their lesson, and set a positive foundation for there friends.
ive waited years for mods to build up.. and im currently downloading the game for the first time and im gunna build a really nice modlist. gunna be a great first experience ty. im a roleplayer in game so ye lol

I just came here to say, that was, hands down, the greatest video game intro I have ever seen!
Nice video. But do you know a mod that gives the player as much health as an npc? It's kind of unimmersive that you can just walk through gunfire and not die. And perhaps a mod that removes the crosshair so that you shot like an npc. Because rdr2 is just way too easy.
Get the PED Damage Overhaul mod. There's different versions for how realistic you want it to be and you can edit player health, npc health and almost any other setting. Very customizable
I never understood why the game never let you take a companion from camp, or form a posse before a mission.
Probably because while free roaming as a posse, some of the main npc’s would eventually be killed in a shootout and they didn’t want to alter or break the emersion of the main storyline. I could be wrong tho
