Monster Category 5 Hurricane Beryl barrels towards Jamaica

- FOX 13 Meteorologist Valerie Mills broke down the historic, monster Hurricane Beryl - now a Category 5 storm - as it barrels towards Jamaica. It is expected to remain a major hurricane when it makes landfall in Jamaica likely on Wednesday, although wind shear could weaken it slightly.

With record-high water temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean causing this storm to strengthen to Category 5, when Beryl enters the Gulf of Mexico with record-high Gulf water temperatures, not to mention the high water temperatures in the Gulf Loop Current, Beryl will only re-strengthen into a major hurricane.

At this point not gonna believe anything anyone says anymore. Yesterday they were talking about it going down to Cat 3 and surprise surprise It went up to a Cat 5.
It is a very strange hurricane just before it make land fall on my island Grenada is was a category 3 and then out of no where it became a category 4 hurricane this been the trend with this hurricane from the get go

I predicted this last week when it was a tropical storm. That it would be a major hurricane & head to the gulf.....and it would be a 4 or 5..at the time they were saying a 2 maybe 3.....and it would stay south.
I also predicted Katrina as it came off the African coast.

God if that makes it into the Gulf in any kind of organization, it's going to explode again. I just remember that one hurricane that was a borderline 1 and the next morning it was a 4.

Its already disapating. Its just a normal huricane. Records have been kept for only a few decades and accurate measurements for less than that. These "monster" "records" dont actually mean anything except to those who love sensationalism.
records go back to about 1900, based on shipboard and land based observations. With the increased funding and modernization of the National Weather Service after the GAlveston, hurrican disaster, they got much better, mainly because of the radio, telegraph, and telephone, and the advent of airplanes that could actively seek out the location of a storm, and later drop radiotransmitting probes from the upper atmosphere And now we have artificial imaging satellites.
