You two need a regular podcast. On the Rye side of things I have only enjoyed two ryes. One is Angels Envy and the other is High West MWND. Straight ryes have bubble gum and dill pickle notes that don’t work for me. Great episode and great dynamic with your sis. Tell it like it is…the only way to fly.
A podcast? Peter would be great on a podcast! Little known fact outside our family, he is one of those people that is filled with random, useless information. He'll randomly tell us something and we always find ourselves commenting, "How and the hell do you even know that?" He's fantastic to have on your team at trivia nights! 🤣

Thank you so much for your kind words and condolences. It’s the most difficult thing we have ever experienced. Our mother was our everything. She taught us that nothing was more important or special than family. We have her to thank for our tight bond. I don’t think the 4 of us could have gotten through this without each other. We will be forever grateful to her for the incredible gift of family! She will truly be missed! 💔

A good friend of mine found this for $30!!! He hooked me up with a bottle. Couldn't believe he found it for that price! If only all Blue Run were that $$
Now regarding Whiskey. For me when I heard about the branding Nike, I just flew it off. I’m not spending that much on some thing that could be mediocre. It turns out it was. Thanks for putting this review out. For me if there has to be a little venom behind it, it’s OK Because the people making it need to know things to work on for the future.
It will be interesting to see what happens when they start producing their own whiskey. The distillery plans look amazing which probably means they'll add another $100 on to the bottle. It's supposed to be opened at some point in 2025.
Because I need to learn to like them and the only way to do that is to buy more. 🤪 I just bought the Wild Turkey Triumph... And I love it! I think I might have turned a corner on my application of the rye category.
Blue run is not something I go to first this brand is very expensive on many of their bottles. And being sourced there are many better and less expensive brands out there. So it’s always a pass.
I am right there with you. I have not looked in a while, but it is my understanding that they are building a distillery and it's scheduled to open sometime in 2025. We will see. Why would you buy an expensive rye if you don’t like rye?
Because I need to learn to like them and the only way to do that is to buy more. 🤪 I just bought the Wild Turkey Triumph... And I love it! I think I might have turned a corner on my application of the rye category.
P.S. I could have had a bit more spice! Single malts are my love but a good RYE rye is delicious!! Cheers!!
