For those in the comment section worried about spiders crawling into your mouth while you sleep.
I can help you relax, it has never happened.
I'll explain below.
The idea is that your mouth is a damp and dark crevice, which is the type of place a spider would want to hide in. This is true, however,
spiders can see(or atleast sense) bodyfluids and they tend to stay away from it, which means they can tell that your mouth is not a safe place for them.
As a result any spider brave enough to come close to your face, would find the inside of your mouth a threatening place to be near.
It is however very unlikely that a spider would crawl near your face in the night, with their tiny hairs they can sense vibrations comeing through the ground(or your bed) which would alert them to the giant monster sleeping (you) as a result they are more likely to crawl under your bed than on it.
and ofcourse if your sheets aren't newly washed, a spider would see them as being covered in bodyfluid, even if it is dry, this is another reason why bed spiders aren't an everyday thing.

Yes Gwen thank you but as you say, this happened to you ONCE, I'm led to believe that it you say it has happened one time in your life.
We can be fairly safe to assume you have slept in proximity to spiders most nights in your life, so we have 1 night of spider getting into your bed versus what I assume is thousands of nights undisturbed by bed spiders.
Look, I'm not saying it can't ever happen that a spider crawls across your body as you sleep, I'm merely saying that is it more unlikely than it is likely, I'm aracnophobic myself and I was merely trying to help fellow afraid people sleep tonight without having to worry about spiders crawling into their mouth.

I was never afraid of spiders crawling in my mouth (never really even crossed my mind until I see/hear people say it)...I'm just afraid of it being on me.....I was kinda fine with that when I was younger tho T^T I can only barely handle money spiders (those tiny safe orange-y ones) as long as they don't go under my sleeve if I was wearing sth long sleeved

nobody will read this, but jon burton, who made this game, recently released a director's cut for the mega drive version that made it a lot more playable. check out his channel, he's called gamehut.

Kairu Hakubi He founded Travelers Tales, the devs for the game. I doubt he needed to face any legal battles.
That's generally not how that works. There's a million little things everyone has to sign off on in order to make a release of something legal. That's why rereleases are so difficult to wrangle. traveler's tales doesn't just have the exclusive license to release any more versions of a game with sega's characters in it just because they did once.
EDIT: i looked it up. It's a PATCH for people who legally bought the game on steam. THAT is a thing you can do.

Believe it or not, there was actually a lot of effort put into making this game. The creator Jon Burton has a UA-cam channel called GameHut, where he goes behind the scenes of how he makes his games. He deserves more credit!

He also made a DX version of the game. It doesn’t fix the game entirely, but it does fix some major issues and adds a few nice features such as a level select and super sonic.
Didn't he also change the checkerboard colours in this level specifically to make them more tolerable too?
The technical achievements are incredible and the devs really should be proud (GameHut is super fun to watch) but yeah... the game is just inherently not very fun to me.

People literally thought software in power plants were going to crash, banks were going to lose track of the date and lose your money, calendars, meetings, inventory software, etc. would all get jacked up or erase everything, etc. All because some programs used 2-digit years and couldn't handle 99 rolling over to 00, either due to thinking it's 1900, not being able to handle going backwards and having infinite loop issues, or dividing by zero and crashing.
It didn't help that 2000 was *also a leap year* -- Leap years are every 4 years, except for centuries, *EXCEPT EXCEPT* for Millenia. lmfao. Huge number of pieces of software had 365 days in 2000 when it should have 366, which fucks up 2001, and so on.

There is an updated director's cut version of Sonic 3D Blast/Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island for Steam PC where the game plays a lot better and you can play as Super Sonic after you get all 7 of the Chaos Emeralds, the game has a save/load system, a time attack mode, Tails and Knuckles are found in the Gene Gadget and Panic Puppet levels and so much more.

So, a bit of a fun fact about this game that no one else in the comments has brought up. A few years ago, Jon Burton (one of the programmers of this game at Sega) modified the game to have loads of improvements that add a lot of replayability and allows for an experience that the Genesis version *_could've_* had. The controls are smoother, there's a lot of graphical tweaks in the levels, a password system, a crab-like enemy that was scrapped in the middle of development was added into the game in the lava level, collecting all of the Chaos Emeralds not only goes for full completion but you also get Super Sonic (Something the original version didn't have. With Super Sonic, you have the Homing Attack, Speed Shoes and are invincible.), a world map which allows you to go back to previous levels that you have already completed to go for 100%, Sonic Medals no longer give you continues- but they instead go towards 100% completion, there's a "Time Challenge" mode where you just get to the end in a strict time limit, and many more gameplay tweaks that ultimately make it the definitive way to play the Sega Genesis version of this game.
I thought I would mention this fact because it is relevant to the game and I haven't seen anyone else bring it up in the comments.

There actually did exist a version with better graphics. It was for Sega Saturn and Windows.

I heard a story or poem when I was in 3rd grade about a man who sat on an toilet in the outback and got bitten on the ass by a spider. And I can't stand spiders to the point that after said story, I refused to use my toilet if there was a Daddy Long Legs anywhere near it for the longest time. xD

The comment reminded me of a cook i read as a kid which had a part similar to that. Looking it up its a short story in a book called Unreal, titled Skeleton on the Dunny.

Indeed. Though, to be honest, I've gotten more use out of the game as a music CD than as a video game. I'm quite fond of the level tracks in this game (Rusty Ruin Act 2 and Diamond Dust in particular).

Sorry, misread your comment. Snapple is a beverage company that makes bottles of juices and iced tea(not 100% sure about the iced tea part, though).

I had a bag of beans one time, i flicked them all in a pot w the following ingredients
1 large onion, diced
2 (16-ounce) cans pork and beans
3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup light brown sugar
4 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 pound bacon strips, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
They were great.
I love how the title of this video is just "Sonic 3D Blast." Like the only obvious subtitle would have been "Flickin' Beans" and the editor was just like, "NOPE."
