Knightgalia deathcore bands have been killin it for years before teehee bitch tried to make a blanket statement excuse for his bands shitty new "direction" and album lol
THIS is how a band is supposed to evolve. Not take four steps back and then get pissed at fans for not liking it. This is do awesome I can still even hear remnants of what sound like parts off of Infinite Death. Evolution is fine but you can't forget what made your band popular in the first place. Can't wait to hear more from you guys!
I miss CJ's highs, but he's mastered the low range mid screaming style. I think he's one of the best vocalists of all time. Love the song and this band!
Idk how some people say "same generic deathcore" this track has the most death metal influence I've seen them use before I love it! Hope most of the album has this speed!
I mean Generic Deathcore was at least 50% death metal from the beginning and this is pretty much in keeping with that sound. I hesitate to use the term Generic here because that would imply the music is bad, but this is very much the standard Deathcore sound from the genre's inception that's very well executed but doesn't innovate on the formula in any real way, and I dont' think it leans that much farther into death metal territory than what they've done before. The thing is tho that you don't always have to reinvent the wheel every time and the way this band has remained faithful to the original deathcore template but with consistently good quality on the execution is what makes them stand out against a lot of their contemporaries. Thy Art is the band people turn to in order to get their Classic Deathcore fix now that the bands that originally pioneered the sound have abandoned it.
I think Carnifex's Die Without Hope album was a good example of a deathcore band managing to infuse a lot more of an oldschool death metal vibe into the modern deathcore sound, whereas this justs sound more death metally just because it sticks to the original deathcore sound that had more of a death metal influence anyway before people started incorporating djent and nu-metal elements.
alexander simmons compare this sound to the other TAIM albums not to other bands and youll understand what he meant. its sounds very different to Hate or Holy Wars.
carnifex is the best well known deathcore band to have the most death metal sound, but has no one in this comment section discovered xisforeyes besides me...
Lyrics: Go! Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath It never lets go, overwhelming suffering Piles of pointless possessions They smother all hope for serenity The hunted find no seclusion In a landscape constructed to crash The final collection of wealth and worth Herds of servitude reduced to ash All that is yours is but a waste A life of selfishness and disgrace Time trials, failure recycles Existence that bears no weight Too fucking late, no hope for a world of Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath A life of no consequence, is now your fucking death sentence It never lets go, the mouth of the leech Drawing out the lifeblood Salivating for the taste of treachery The hunted find no seclusion In a landscape constructed to crash The final collection of wealth and worth Herds of servitude reduced to ash All that is yours is but a waste A life of selfishness and disgrace Time trials, failure recycles Existence that bears no weight Too fucking late, no hope for a world of slaves Slaves, slaves beyond death Slaves, slaves beyond death Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath Slaves, slaves beyond death Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath
I'm sensing a spiritual change in TAIM lately. They went from "There is nothing beyond this life" to "Rip out your hellish heart. beg for forgiveness" and "Slaves beyond death". I like it.
Dominic Dimartino Agreed! I'm really liking this Death metal sound, if you truly think about it, The Adversary was definitely Death Metal. Maybe even a bit of Holy War, Hate seemed much more like deathcore to me
At first I didn't like it now it's all I listen to. This song makes me headbang uncontrollably. It's so fucking amazing this band never disappoints me.
this is really really good! first material that I like from this band and it's amazing! reminds me a bit of misery index and the red chord, has that pumping aggression and then jumps in a groove beat, I like those dynamics a lot :) !
Aug O well to me that was what made thy art is murder so great. Their atmospheric evil that was present on Hate and Holy War is what I loved about them. No other band comes close. This song is just okay to me...very repetitive. I'd say every song on the Hate album was better than this song
The Adversary was their best album cuz it was the most brutal. Hate had more atmosphere and catchiness, and was also very good, but slightly lacking in brutality. Holy War tried to balance the atmosphere and brutality, and I also like this album, but the 2 aspects were not perfectly combined, and i mainly enjoyed the brutal parts of each song. Hopefully this next album strikes the perfect, seamless balance.
those drums are overpowered in the mastering of the recording. It would be great to have those guitars in front a bit more. Other than that, it sounds good 👌
I appreciate the drum forward mixing - to each their own. Every band puts the djenty guitar tracks on top of everything else and it gets boring as fuck.
I love it! they have stayed deathcore, but they are not confined to it. Slaves beyond death is definitely deathcore, but you can also here the traditional death metal like riffs
I love this song, it has a lot of Death Metal on it. Deathcore bands have recently proven they are not a thing aside from the Metal scene as lots of more traditional fans want us to believe. Carnifex and Lorna Shore having a lot of Black Metal on their music show us Deathcore musicians are mostly just Extreme Metal fans who write heavyass music.
Ehhhh, I've never liked Death Metal so I can't say I really like this song but cheers to everyone that does and to Thy Art Is Murder for always putting out quality shit
A estos tipasos se les daria mas esto del death metal ya que en el deathcore mmmmm dejan con sabor a poco y con algo mas death metal volarian craneos simplemente deberian dedicarse a leer comentariow estos tipos...esta cancion esta precisa
when most bands do videos shoot in front of green screen or some other computer generated background I feel like it comes out looking kinda unprofessional and cheesy looking, however they pulled it surprisingly well.
Suicide Silence: "deathcore is dead"
Thy Art is Murder, Carnifex, Oceano, Slaughter to Prevail, and a shit ton of other bands: "hold my beer"
Lol 😂
Knightgalia Don't forget Shadow Of Intent ;)
Knightgalia deathcore bands have been killin it for years before teehee bitch tried to make a blanket statement excuse for his bands shitty new "direction" and album lol
Knightgalia rings of saturn, chelsea grin
Knightgalia The list goes on & on.
THIS is how a band is supposed to evolve. Not take four steps back and then get pissed at fans for not liking it. Oh god it is really heavy , Mary Jane gonna love it !
lol
RealPeterParker my spidey sense brought me here
She's dead, sorry for you.
Umbra it was too heavy for her
Like my... uh... nothing :3
I miss CJ's highs, but he's mastered the low range mid screaming style. I think he's one of the best vocalists of all time. Love the song and this band!
Samuel Osmon I don't think it's the worst that he doesn't use the highs as much as he used to because when he does, it really kicks your ass
Idk how some people say "same generic deathcore" this track has the most death metal influence I've seen them use before I love it! Hope most of the album has this speed!
UnholySermons yes dude!

They smother all hope for serenity
The hunted find no seclusion

A life of selfishness and disgrace
Time trials, failure recycles
Existence that bears no weight
Too fucking late, no hope for a world of
Slaves, slaves beyond death
Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath
Slaves, slaves beyond death
Pain, can you feel the pain hiding under your breath
A life of no consequence, is now your fucking death sentence
It never lets go, the mouth of the leech
Drawing out the lifeblood
Salivating for the taste of treachery

Cody Cook death metal
this is a brutal.I can only imagine how the pit would be. fuckin love it.
Roy Mullins SEE YOU IN THE PIT!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully just not a big circle of people doing their best windmill/Karate impersonation. That would be lame.
thy art is murder + rings of saturn on the same label 😍 holy aliens
true!
Euphoric Onion thanks! I like their lyrics a lot
Nuclear Blast are for Gods only
And Carnifex! Don't forget Carnifex
And don´t Forget the kings of deathcore teehee suicide silence lol
Thy Art Is Murder is back, just when I thought 2017 couldn't get better for metal. Fck yeaah!!!
great song!
holy shit I fucking love Thy Art Is Murder
This sounds more brutal than everything they brought out before. Definitely recognize some changes in their style, keep on with that!
I like this song because it sounds more death metal than deathcore. I hope they keep it this way.
Dominic Dimartino Agreed! I'm really liking this Death metal sound, if you truly think about it, The Adversary was definitely Death Metal. Maybe even a bit of Holy War, Hate seemed much more like deathcore to me
Yea, "No Absolution" was a classic deathcore song with a punchline breakdown on it etc. This song dig a little more
AGREEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!!
100%
thats what all deathcore should be. Death metal with hardcore influences
2:07 Eeaaarggggghhhhh
I dont see any comments about the video... And HOLY SHIT it looks amazing with all the CGI and shit.... 🤘 respect
Sounds awesome ! cant wait for the new album to come out >:D
So happy they are putting out new music again. I was real worried that CJ leaving for a bit would be the end of them.
Death Metal elements are really obvious in this one.
Pseudo yup
Por Hacer Algo that was intentional
At first I didn't like it now it's all I listen to. This song makes me headbang uncontrollably. It's so fucking amazing this band never disappoints me.
finally they added some new sound to their music!
this is really really good! first material that I like from this band and it's amazing! reminds me a bit of misery index and the red chord, has that pumping aggression and then jumps in a groove beat, I like those dynamics a lot :) !
Reupload? Or was it just on Facebook before? Sick fucking video though. This band is developing such a good sound!
kstud The first one is posted on Thy Art official channel, this is their label
The song sounds great but everyone involved in the making of the video deserve some serious props. One of the beat I've seen in a while.
my legs are already tired thinking of the circle pit for this live
the filthy beatdown 😍
CJ looking like Darth McMahon over here
Wait, didn't CJ leave TAIM?
He joined back at the UNIFY Festival in Australia. Search "Holy War Live at Unify" on youtube and you'll see his return
these guys and Fit For An Autopsy , are the kings of deathcore lml
I'm glad this song is straight up ass kicking and none of that "creepy atmosphere" shit there was too much of in holy war
Aug O well to me that was what made thy art is murder so great. Their atmospheric evil that was present on Hate and Holy War is what I loved about them. No other band comes close. This song is just okay to me...very repetitive. I'd say every song on the Hate album was better than this song
Jeff T Cant agree more dude

Back to back killer songs 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Thy art is murder! Great song, video. Another hit u got my vote!
When anyone says Deathcore is dead just show them this because holy shit this is amazing
It's pretty awesome. I like this "new" TAIM, but I still miss that vibe from Infinite Death.
Gabriel Kowalewski I miss Brenden too man, there's very few of us at the old cool kids table
Daniel Haze virgins table*
lol What're you talking about there's tons of that vibe in the first riff that you even hear....... get out of here.
I like the sound it's a great song to mosh to but I just cant find a way to headbang to it rock on guys
yeah! finally!! keep it up
love the fast drums 👌👌 nice song
I came here expecting nothing, and got fucking killed.
Mike Stahl expect the unexpected
Love how Death Metal this is. Also dat slam. Got my hopes up for the new album for sure.
@2:15 I have heard that riff before somewhere...
I knew it, they just made deathcore for years so they could become the IRL Dethklok and make real death metal for millions
these guys don't move for shit man, especially for this fucking awesome song, Id break my fucking neck playing this if I could.
thanks for the birthday gift guys!
happy birthday! :) :D \m/
kick ass video, love this band
My new favorite band
Can't wait to see them someday live again!
The legends of deathcore, period
those drums are overpowered in the mastering of the recording. It would be great to have those guitars in front a bit more. Other than that, it sounds good 👌
Adam Kilduff thought the same but holy shit this song is amazing
I kinda liked it. It seems like prominence of the drums is the new thing these days. Get's people bealted
Letmeopenyourthroat
I'm just old maybe. Lol. its nothing that a little treble boost won't fix on the EQ
I appreciate the drum forward mixing - to each their own. Every band puts the djenty guitar tracks on top of everything else and it gets boring as fuck.
drums in thy art is murder always had a bigger role than in most other bands in this genre, i think its okay
let's make this album platinum teehee
It reminds me of Impending Doom's first two records in it's aggressive riff heavy approach.
Love these guys. Great song.
🥰
King of deathcore. Nuff said!
why must we wait two months, this is so good
Sounds great! i'd be paying more attention to this band
All I can think about when I hear this now is a guy in a green morph suit getting fudge poured on him
I love it! they have stayed deathcore, but they are not confined to it. Slaves beyond death is definitely deathcore, but you can also here the traditional death metal like riffs
I love this song, it has a lot of Death Metal on it. Deathcore bands have recently proven they are not a thing aside from the Metal scene as lots of more traditional fans want us to believe. this is quite the spicey peice of cinema
This sounds awesome!
whoa that video clip was awesome 👏
I can not wait till August!
1:59-2:08 ''humanity shall suffer its absolute genocide'' kind of sound
Solid Death Metal all way round 🤘🔥☠🔥🤘
HOLY SHIT! IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD!!!! SO HYPED FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!!
esta de huevos!! thy art is murder es una de las mejores bandas hoy por hoy!!
This sounds like old school Lamb of God mixed with a little old Slipknot. That is why it RULES! 🤘🏻

carnifex+ thy art is murder = best satanic deathcores ever
It is still drop A? Cuz it's sounds heavy as a train.
greetings from Greece TAIM
Dope video
if the heartwork album mixed with ride the lightning with a dose of decapitated and slipknot then you get this
While watching this I thru my peanut butter and jelly sandwich against the wall.
A estos tipasos se les daria mas esto del death metal ya que en el deathcore mmmmm dejan con sabor a poco y con algo mas death metal volarian craneos simplemente deberian dedicarse a leer comentariow estos tipos...esta cancion esta precisa
yes!!!! deathcore!!!!
Third coming of Jesus...
Not surprised he came after listening to this ;)
when most bands do videos shoot in front of green screen or some other computer generated background I feel like it comes out looking kinda unprofessional and cheesy looking, however they pulled it surprisingly well.
