Great video. Im having the same problems with my 450r, so I ordered one of those can't wait to install it on my bike 👍. Looking to put a rekluse on it this winter also
Getting one for my 24 yz250fx.. I was damn this thing is , like you said, light switch on or off when getting on it from first gear.. no mood for whisky throttle 😂 thanks for the vid 👌
you mean they changed the gearing on the rx to distinguish it from the r or you mean they changed the gearing for both and theyre still the same as each other?
@@didickcheeseburger honda described the change as smoothing the initial throttle response and sending more of that power near the top end where it would be more usable
Wearing a Harley shirt, using all 4 fingers on the clutch, and using a 40hp bike for trail riding. Yeah it's mostly the bikes fault. You cruiser guys think a trail bike is too small and then complain about a race bike. The fragile ego of a 'biker'
I’m have the exact same issue. Very disappointing, makes it very difficult when going slow. I just bought the R. Thanks so much for the video.

I have this bike and I'm also stalling it all the times. I love the challenge, will probably keep it as is, but thanks for the vid!
Put one on my crf years ago. Awesome mod, and totally worth the price.
I will definitely get one myself and try it out. Much appreciated👍
Do you think a 14T front sprocket would do a better job on mellowing out the snappiness?
250rx has a wide ratio transmission and different suspension valving too.
I havent rode in a decade or so. Going to jump back in on a 300L or 300LS this summer. Ill definitely be looking for this
Will the odi lock ons not fit period? Or is it just a pain?

so only one black delrin washer is needed to help with a sticky throttle
does the throttle stop at the same point?
I just bought the 2024 250r and struggled riding in the woods I was afraid I was going to wear my starter out.
Why get a race bike for trail riding?
I agree, I wish I got the RX for sure.
@@williamnoonan6366 Good chance the throttle tamer will help since throttle control is a learned skill.
Apparently they changed the gearing on the newer models

@@didickcheeseburger for the rx specifically

the bike is a race bike the stalling is just the bike because it is gear for racing
True, but I’m trying to make it better for trail riding. Fly wheel weight is next…
Not true.. It's due to the snatchy throttle response when it comes off idle. You only notice it doing slow speed technical move.

You’re not wrong 😂
