Brunson didn’t leave $113m on the table…he signed less years so he can sign an extension when the cap goes up…he’s betting on himself to be healthy and will most likely make more money over the same time period…it will give the Knicks some flexibility in the short term but don’t make out like he’s taking a discount
@@dflowhoops all the people who talked about it were incorrect too…it’s about the 10-year extension he can sign…here’s a good summary I saw: “Yes he could have signed a 5-year, $269 million deal, but instead with a 3-year, $117 million deal, with an opt-out clause in the fourth year, he'll have 10 years of experience and can potentially sign a 5-year, $439 million deal. This means he'll earn $556.56 million over 8 years, compared to the $557 million he would have made with the original 5-year deal extended to 8 years for comparison...So, in reality, he's probably giving up around $1-2 million.”
@@dflowhoops Technically it's not a pay cut because it's the max that he could sign as of now. If he took this deal next off season then it would have been a pay cut. It really isn't a big deal but most of the media left that out to make it seem like he is taking less now when he isn't.
You might be the first person I’ve ever seen post anything on the internet followed by “in my opinion.” I think it would solve a lot of unnecessary conflict if more people followed your example, in my opinion 🙏
Great review. Hit all the necessary points. The value of key players, upcoming extensions, etc. It'll be a fun Eastern Conf next year.
Thank you. Glad I could do so. I'm looking forward to it

True, many people don't understand that ..
Even if it was less years, it doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been for more. How he’s taken the pay cut has been talked about a lot

My fault. I was just going off what was reported
Knicks seeming unstoppable
Could be but the Celtics are tough
They may have given up to many picks but its a good risk in my opinion
The Bridges-Anunoby-Randle equation will be tough to counter so I think you're right, then again it is a lot of picks
@@dflowhoops they did have a ton of assets to offer up though just sitting there and the right fit was available

Thibs with an injury prone player like OG seems like it might not go so well
He’s gotta be cognizant of that
knicks will be good enough whee they dont have to overplay him
With everybody healthy he don’t need to play high minutes
Bridges helps the durability fs
Williams Nancy Davis Barbara Robinson David
Indiana is still better.
I see you
Meh. I think Indy is younger n faster. Def not better
Leave that crack alone😂
