Your fantastic tutorials along with practice have been an invaluable resource for learning to airbrush. Thank you for taking the time to create this content!😊
I blast it into a small bin under my desk, the trouble with smashing lots of water with a side cup is the water pools under the cup and drops on your work if you work flat😮😅
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE iwata washing brush AND USING A GOOD PAINT BRUSH (THAT DON'T SHED) OR ACID BRUSH. THE COST SEEMS HI EVEN ON EBAY AND AMAZON DOES NOT EVEN CARRY JUST WONDERING
Thanks for your comment the iwata brush is rounded (fits perfectly to the base of the colour cup) and does also absorb a lot of the paint when cleaning . That said take a look at the Iwata CL100 cleaning kit as that includes the washing brush and some other really useful tools and may make it more viable to purchase. For more info on the brush check out the following vid , hope that helps ; ua-cam.com/video/reCWc0Kxz0U/v-deo.html
I new to airbrushing, call me lazy, i try only put in enough paint even if just fills the chamber, use what needed, spray out if only chamber full not cup, and just keep going with different colours, only filling the chamber helps me with less washing and less paint loss... Thanks for your teaching, watched many hours of your content before i attempted a couple little paintings, thanks... I still much to learn from you, and my own mistakes 🤣
Yes, Viridian is definitely a nice colour, I am pretty sure there are sets with it included take a look at the color wheel set I think that has it included. Cheers
Yeah, I seem to be missing the point of this cleaning method. It takes me about 2 or 3 minutes to switch colors by flushing it out with cleaner or alcohol. Do you have any opinions on back flushing ? Good or bad ?
It’s just a way to avoid doing a full clean , whatever method works for you is fine , in regards to back flushing I do use it from time to time but make sure that you do it carefully 👍🏻 hope that helps and thanks for your comment .
Hi is it possible to make a living airbrushing or is it really a dead skill like I’ve been told before ? Am I better off using brushes or spray cans ? Appreciate any help !
Hey dude I want to ask is it actually worth buying one of those battery powered remote airbrushes that's around $80? So far it seems OK but kind of crappy on the airflow are you better to get a more mid better one
Why would you nit at least wipe out the inside of the cup with a paper towel? it makes no sense to just leave that paint in there when you can easily wipe most of it out.
I usually do wipe out most of the remaining colour (generally with a baby wipe) but whatever works, flushing it out doesn’t take that much longer so just go with whatever you prefer 😉
Sorry you feel that way mate , I always get asked about alternative cleaning methods rather than doing a complete clean and this basic flush through method even though fairly obvious I thought would help people out 👍🏻
@@ryanbarkley6497 no probs buddy , no offense taken I try my best to mix it up and I do have more paintings coming up, but that said these basic tips videos always way out perform the painting tutorials and I will always do what the viewers want 👍🏻 hope you are doing well .
I ended up removing the AUD link as some people were confused on how to redeem their enrollments, so I reverted back to USD only as then enrollment is super easy. That said if you wish to pay in AUD feel free to email me and I can sort it out for you 👍🏻
Can you do a tutorial on airbrushing realistic headlights? I'm stumped on how to do it. Building a drag car and I would really like to airbrush them on as opposed to headlight decals

spray everything out the chamber before putting in another colour or going back to white...
That viridian looks great! Any sets of createx available with viridian included?

No probs 👍🏻👍🏻
What are the advantages of a cleaning pot?
It will help to contain the overspray when cleaning 👍🏻

Use a baby wipe takes 10 seconds
Yep that will do it as well 👍🏻
Hot water works for me, just run some hot water in you bowel.
This is one of most pointless airbrush videos I've ever seen. You used to do good videos man. What happened?
Sorry you feel that way mate , I always get asked about alternative cleaning methods rather than doing a complete clean and this basic flush through method even though fairly obvious I thought would help people out 👍🏻
@@AirbrushAsylum Yeah no worries. I just liked when you did the paintings more. Thanks for getting back to me.

@@AirbrushAsylum Your basic tips are what got me started so cheers for keep updating them every so often.
Do you still have AUD priced online courses? Link wasn't working a few weeks back
I ended up removing the AUD link as some people were confused on how to redeem their enrollments, so I reverted back to USD only as then enrollment is super easy.

You can't go to a lighter shade. Shade means adding black.
Thank you appreciate the feedback 👍🏻
