Super impressive. My wife is really excited for this collection but we've had a real hard time, as I suppose most folks have, running down any available product.
We also settled on the Vaultx and love it. Even went as far as to get color coded sleeves for her collection. :)

Exactly, I ended up buying several colors of Dragon Shield Matte sleeves. I eyeballed the colors and they look great on the few cards we managed to get our hands on.

@@janamb88 the difference about pokemon and these is that back in the day nobody collected cards so thats why they are expensive today, all or most of people buying this will be collecting making it a not so expensive thing

Awesome set! Just completed non foil set and have 63 foils toward foil set. No enchanted tho. Was recommended and ordered this same binder. Glad I did cause this looks great. Can’t wait to get it.
Some of the foils do look really good if you get the right angle, But i agree most of them are a little dull

also how do you label all your binders considering it's not on the binder? i wanna get into set collecting so I'm curious!
Depending on the size of the set, there are usually 1-4 extra pages at the end. I haven’t figured out a great labeling solution yet, but for Pokémon vault x has set specific binders with the set code on the spine so those at least are labeled!
@@Pokelou502 thanks for replying :) also what clear sleeves do you use for double sleeving your cards in the binder?
I don’t double sleeve, I just use penny sleeves. So regular ultra pro penny sleeves, it’s like $10 for 500 of them or something like that at Walmart or Amazon. So just a penny sleeve and into the binder!

Local game stores were supposed to get one this month, but as far as I’m aware no confirmation of that has come yet. And we just know from ravensburger that more is coming for the holiday season, but no specific date given!

Love my 4x3 VaultX binder for my Yu-Gi-Oh collection. Really gotta pick up like 4 more of those binders for Lorcana master sets and more YGO staples/trades binders.
The marketing with the limited drops for Pokemon sets is what got me, can’t lie. But I’ve done card guardian, guilt free, random Chinese brands. Vault x has the best quality control and I trust them most, so it’s what I stick with now.

wow cool to see all 12 enchanted on one page! I think i have 7 enchanted cards. yes the elsa was ridiculously expensive. im probably gonna grade them tho
I want to grade mine too… but then I’d feel like they were missing in the binder!!! So maybe I’ll get dupes of them eventually. Who knows, next year they could be cheap.

The Complete Set 1 is only truly legit with the pre-errata cards, in my opinion
the promo cards looks so different and unique!!! really worth it!!! These uninspired promos and general problematic supply seems like good indication that this game won't last long. LOL
The promo cards are pretty bad, I agree. The Disney 100 ones coming in the next wave are much more in line with what they should do moving forward. That said, I definitely don’t see them as signs the game will fail. It’s fun, it’s Disney, and demand is super high. I think it has super long legs.
@@Pokelou502 I also hope for the game to succeed but the company's initial response to the early stages of the game looks like they are not taking this franchise seriously enough. There are still no support for local tournaments and the supply issues are not yet solved before they release set 2. Yes, the Disney IP is promising, but casual players are not the ones that keeps a TCG alive, at the end of the day its always the serious TCG players that makes a game alive...
Because the supply chain to print cards needs such a long lead time, precious TCGs that had this same issue (like One Piece) needed until the 3rd set or shortly after to work out supply issues. Ugly reused promo card art can be fixed, and supply is a temporary problem. Like you say, as long as the player base sticks around the game should be good. I think they will at least based on how in demand it remains.

Hello, i just started collecting and i wanted to ask for a full collection should i put the holographic cards next to normal ones? Like you did in the video. And is selling completed collections worth it?
Some people do them side by side like me, others put the foil on top of the regular card. Really just depends how you like to display it! And most of the time the bulk like this doesn’t increase value much. Some foils are expensive but it’s usually better to just focus on desired cards like enchanteds or legendaries if you want to sell.
All I want are the full collection of lion king and lilo and stitch cards.
It makes more sense if u put the 1st chapter promos in the 1st chapter binder. Everything 1st chapter should be in one binder not spread around
It depends. The longer the game lives, the promos aren’t directly associated with a set release. They’re just promos. So the d100 promos, are those set 2 promos just because they released when set 2 did? I don’t think so, I prefer to think of the promos as their own numbered set. But there’s no wrong way to do it if you like other ways!
ok I'm about to start doing the same thing, I noticed that you didn't insert the cards in perfect size and sleeves like dragon shield for example .. but simply in the classic transparent sleeves, my question is why? Do you think they could get ruined otherwise, do you recommend doing the same or is it indifferent? thanks!
Perfect fit sleeves (and the cards) are smaller than the pocket in the binder, so the cards move around when in those sleeves. I like standard penny sleeves. The cards stay snug in the pocket that way and don’t move around!

how did you trade the enchanted ones? Like what kind of trades and what did you offer the owners? Like Bulk cards or Pokemon Stuff?
I talk about the trades in the opening videos as I made them! But yeah, this set upon release was super difficult to hunt down, so I traded anything I could really haha

Great video! Now that some time has passed, do you still keep your enchanteds in the binder? If so, do you double sleeve them or use any extra protection? Would love to understand your opinion on how you plan to save them for the long term. Thanks!
They are still in the binder! Although long term I do want to send them all to psa for grading and do a video on that. So I guess they are just “temporarily” there for now.

Do u think there's gonna be a small difference between first print and reprint?
There is! Not in any first edition marker or anything. But there were a few errata fixes with the 2nd print. Corrected typos, clarified rules, etc.

Correct, I’ve got decks set aside! Although I may do a full playset binder as well since I still have the itch to open more packs and wouldn’t mind having the option of making whatever meta deck.
Just picked up a couple of cheaper singles on TCG Player for Locrana First Chapter. The artwork on these cards is stunning. My goal is to get the Elsa Enchanted which is the main driving force behind this set and the fact that Ravensburger I think only has it available to be sold in Brick and Morter. No online shops can get it.

Fast?! It took over 2 months of hunting and trading haha. I don’t think that’s fast. But yeah like I said, this was the most fun I’ve had in a while collecting a set. Really enjoyed it!
I’m hoping more first chapter gets released, it’s fun to collect. I haven’t gotten a full collection on any set yet but slowly getting there. Rise of the floodborn is my most complete set just missing 20 cards for regular full collection. It will probably take more to get foils. 😅
There is a Lorcana Binder out with the Lorcana art. Like everything else, not easy attainable.
Only one store in my town has boosters @ $15 a pop and singles.
Actually, another store, is selling the$49 booster bundle (second handed) for a mere $110) and he has a few singles as well.
Disgusted with all of this, I completed making my 3 oversized Proxy Decks. I paid $80 for 360 photos. (180 of the same backs and 180 of the cards in my 3 decks)
I also paid $10 for 200- 4”x 6” sleeves
$5 for some colorful, small, acrylic gems (to use as damage tokens)
$4 for a photo box
And I had 2- large 20 sided dice, from 2- MTG bundle boxes.
I may not get into any tournaments, but hey, nobody is having any in my area.
Hopefully one day I’ll get me some, but until then, I’ll be set to play someone, if our paths meet!
Right now I'm doing the commons and uncommons all foil. After that I'll do them non foil. Then slowly buy up the rest of the cards. It's 126 common + uncommons total so 252 cards I gotta buy. I also want the error cards, thankfully those aren't that expensive. Loving your collection my guy.
And no, I won't be opening up any packs but I do want to buy a case of the first chapter which is like $700 to hold onto.
Well done! I'm honestly still trying to just get my hands on cards to play with, since I'm avoiding paying over MSRP. A couple local shops sold them for almost 3x their price... or had ludicrous requirements to obtain a 'free' bonus booster. ($50 in product purchases to get a 'free' booster pack!... wtf?) One shop that did sell some product unsurprisingly sold out ages ago.
Fortunately the one LGS near me that did sell cards at MSRP, despite not having anything left, has been hosting events that permit players to proxy entire decks. So I've been printing out card decks on MTG chaff while waiting for that second printing.
Thanks for showing off the binder! I just got on the Lorcana train. I'm planning on making some master sets but not sure I can handle having any enchanted worth over a few hundred $ in the binders... lol
I do hope to send em all in for grading one day, I get the concern! But I mean people have Pokémon cards in binders for 20 years without issue so hopefully no problems here either.
How much is the complete masterset of the first expansion worth today?
Not sure if it’s super accurate but my Collectr app shows around ~$3700ish

Beautiful set👍too much for me to take on iv started a vault x 9 pocket folder for first chapter got booster boxes and brought foil bundles online im just try to complete sets with a mixture of foils and non foils just managed to pick starter and 6 boosters of floodborn which I will do the same to aswell

Somewhere around $1500 all said and done, not counting anything I could trade back. Would’ve saved money and been cheaper to just get two boxes and buy singles from there!

Love seeing a master set of the First Chapter! Know a lot of hard work was put into it. Congrats! Also, thank you for summarizing the purchases and roughly how much you opened. Just curious, after opening various types of products, could you tell whether you had more success or luck pulling enchanteds/difficult to find cards from starter decks/troves/gift sets vs booster packs/boxes? I know it should all be random but I’ve recently witnessed enchanteds pulled from starter decks and personally my best card was also pulled from a booster within a starter deck but I haven’t opened nearly as much product to say whether these are all coincidental
I had most luck for enchanteds with the sleeved packs for sure! Only got 1 enchanted in my 6 booster boxes. All other pull rates were about the same really, as far as legendaries, legendary foils, etc!

how do u get the normal promos?
There are promos released at shows and play promos you can get for playing at your local stores! So trading around or getting them that way is what I do.
are those enchanteds in sleeves?
Of course! Everything in the binder is in sleeves. I haven’t decided if I wanna grade the enchanteds or not yet. So I may move them to top loaders while I decide. But for now all sleeved up as normal in the binder.

Have casual collectors been frozen out of Lorcana? I've yet to see it in any store at MSRP...
Getting lucky at Target or Walmart seem to be the only options for msrp, unless it’s starter decks at Disney world. Hard to say whether it’s the player base or collectors or just scalpers who are keeping supply low but I’d guess a combination of all three. I still think by set 3 it’ll be figured out, similar to One Piece.

Target! They are restocking often here. Although it’s gone right away, they seem to have new stuff most weeks to put out.
