How do you suspect that this trouble was du to the port micro usb
I think a have the same problem but i m not sure , i suspect a motherbird ic problem also
When i connect to the bose upgrade site nothing happen , the product is not found

Standard micro usb for mobile phones. I am repairing mobile thats why i have a lot of spare micro usb ports

So you are left with ugly, unglued unit. These bose models are cheaply assembled with adhesives and are practically disposable after battery life is over. I'm not surprised that you skipped part of the reassembling speaker back to its original appearance. You simply can't.
