I've dealt with scrupulosity and doubting because I was too much of an intellectual to be at peace with the teachings of the RCC. I delved into apologetics, only to be more confused and restless. I thought of becoming a Protestant because I hadn't understood the value of being a giver, and not a taker. In the hour of truth, the Holy Spirit showed me how to be simple, and it started (all over again) with simplicity in speech. Fr Lawrence showed it to me. My husband and son passed away 15 months ago. I have been praying for their souls ever since. I pray for them to be in heaven soon. I also pray for my 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. I wish I prayed harder and more all these years of my life before August 2021. God bless you. I love your talks. My sister is buried in an Erie cemetery. ❤
Praying for the repose of the souls of your husband & son. Grant to them eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Lord, we entrust their souls to Your unfathomable love, mercy and forgiveness. ♥️🙏🏼💙
If you read the massages of St. Faustina, God reminds her and us of His ocean of Mercy. And as you, I also regret not having more thought and prayed for all souls in my early years. Now I pray for souls on a daily base. Blessings to all!
Bless you Father. Your ministry extends throughout the world. Your daily Masses have been a primary part of our life since COVID. I’ve learned so much from your homilies and books.
I was making a breakfast pie with a frozen store-bought crust. The packers has squashed the pie plates and the dough was broken up so I had to paste it all together. When I finished filling the pie and applied the top crust the poor pie looked like a dog's breakfast. But I egged and cheesed it and powdered a bit of paprika on it and popped it into the oven. 30 mins later the pie came out of the oven looking like a beautiful bake pie without any evidence of all the surgery I had applied to it! I remarked to my friend that this is like purgatory: our souls are not so pretty and need to be purified and made beautiful as new spouses of the Lord. The heat of the oven purged all the stress and crumble and made it beautiful. The purification of Purgatory is giving the soul is finished.
Father your words bring me comfort and i know they are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ but I am so thankful that the Lord our God gave us a man like you. thank you and i'll keep praying for you, your ministry and our people of who need the salvation of our Lord.
Father, thank you for your podcast. God bless you for administering the Apostolic Pardon. I was told that each person has to ask for it or the priest will not automatically give it. Thank you for your explaination of Purgatory and redemptive suffering. I love the explaination of suffering with hope. Am aiming for Heaven and realize that all I can do is my best with all my worts I will serve God. 🙏🏻❤️

I am so relieved to hear how to think about going to heaven. Instead of hoping for purgatory I just hope my charity towards others and love for others even when I find it hard to see the best gets perfected to God’s standards and not mine. I've learned so much about prayer, death, purgatory, I wish I knew this to the point I know now earlier.
