Those little pigs are too cute. Have fun guys
I know right. It was so tiny. Thanks Dane
This video reminds me of good memories at Green Turtle Cay. Cheers, Richard
That's awesome. What good memories do you remember Richard?
Wow what a video just beautiful with Coral reefs little pigs that I believe was a stingray almost looked like black a
with white dots butterfly. Loved that pirate ship too. Board wasn't my favorite to get on. I would go sideways for more comfort of fear of heights.
Just a beautiful area both land and sea good job on presentation well put together. I can't wait until next week show 😉🛁🏝🤩
Glad you liked it Erica! There was a spotted eagle ray with the white dots. They're so majestic when they swim. It always nice to visit different types of boats.
@@WildlyIntrepid oops thought stingray it was beautiful. Beautiful boat and with beautiful thoughts behind it like helping out people so cooler not too many things like that anymore good to hear🤩
We need more people like that.
Nice one🤟
Cheers
👍👍👍
That was a fun adventure with you two👍That’s a beautiful island to be on and get supplies.
Thanks it really is a fun island to stop at and visit
A buddy of ours lost a boat moored at GTC. Looks like the place is coming back after that storm. What a great place.
Really when did he loose his boat? We didn't see GTC prior to Dorian but we hear a lot of work was done. We really enjoyed it there.
It was during Dorian. He just brought the new to him boat there in the winter before Dorian. He always sailed smaller, less, expensive boats and stored them at abaco yacht services for the hurricane season. He did the same with this much bigger one..it was a total loss.
Glad they are rebounding.. oddly enough we had a spot reserved there I'd we had made it there at that time. We got held back by boat work on Georgian bay, tg3n we planned to ho spring of 2019. We were gonna sail from penetang to port colborne, had a slip booked at sugarloaf...prepare for a couple months and head south.. then cover hit and that was that.
A friend of ours left Toronto this sept.in hopes of going south , but border was still closed to boat traffic.he opted to sail round the long way. Unfortunately he got stuck in Riviere du Renard with engine trouble. We will probably wait till either fall of 2022 or spring of 23. Hopefully this will be all over,..cant wait
That hurricane did some serious damage. Hopefully you make out this year. The border closures are starting to make everything so much more tricky and frustrating. You'll like Sugarloaf if you go there, the staff was wonderful to us. Too bad for your friend but at least the Gaspesie is a nice area. That's sailing right, you never know what will happen or where you'll get stuck. Because something always breaks.
Hope y’all keep making videos for us all to watch and enjoy. You do a great job and the content is very good!Kool to see that big water maker, and to see the grocery store too.Underwater was awesome
We loved reading your comment. And don't worry Mark we will keep making videos for you to enjoy. We like sharing our adventures and sharing what we find.
Great video, can't wait to get there. Bought a new wetsuit and mask for my adventure. Hope I have as much fun as you 2.5 did. Cheers!
Thanks Scott. You're definitely going to need those. Have you got a spear yet? You're going to have so much fun.
@@WildlyIntrepid yes, I have 2
Good and make sure you have replacement bands and extra speartips
@@WildlyIntrepid just ordered 3 bands, have to go to diver supply for tips, this week!
Perfect. Divers supply in Jacksonville has good prices.
Another one to add to the list. Thanks for sharing guys. Be safe.
You might have a few to add to the list Norman. Be safe too
FYI, did you stop at Jim King Part on Sisters Creek. Thinking for jumping off from there. THX!!
Yes that's always out stop on our way to or from GCSM. Really convenient although it's not close to anywhere. So make sure you have everything you need. The docks are great and there's water and garbage.
Is there a certain species of shark to be more careful of? and others that are more docile? also, is there any concern of ciguatera in abacos?
Bull sharks, tiger sharks and hammerheads are a bit more intimidating. Nurse sharks and black tip reefs sharks are normally friendlier. But they are all wild and you never know how they can react. We haven't heard of anyone getting ciguatera there. But we are still careful not to eat too many full grown fish.
Next time stop and say hello to any doggies. Please. Thanks for sharing
Will do. And thanks for watching
