I was just telling my self today I wish there was a video online that shows a break down on changing the guts on this valve. I got my rebuild kit today. For my A8 epr valve. Thank you for this video. I haven’t been an apprentice for racks so not much guidance. I got hired in-house and thrown to the wolves it’s been an interesting journey so far but. Appreciate your videos.
Commonly, techs would first go to a big company, learn as much as possible and get an in house job to get paid better and dont work your a** as much, most importantly dont give up and read your manuals, liked the video as well.
@colejc makes sense. Ill use oil if it's readily available. But I'm not going to open a can of oil for 3 small gaskets. Plus nylog is made of refrigerant oil. I appreciate the input brother.
@@SupermarketRefrigeration In a pinch I just grab a lil bit from a nearby compressor from the oil pump access port. Any paper gaskets and rubber O rings just need a light coating of oil but not saturated it keeps it pliable and aids in sealing plus helps with releasing if disassembled in the future but never oil metal gaskets always install dry and make sure surfaces are dry.
Good job SR......
Thank you Sir!
Good work!

Unfortunately being thrown to the wolves is far too common. Glad the video could help you out. Feel free to reach out if you need some help.

Estimado, que función cumple esa válvula de diafragma? Saludos desde Argentina
Is this also called a HPR (head pressure regulating) valve aka Winter valve?
Sounds like the same thing.
Excellent fix 👍💪
Thank you!
no hate just sharing, I've always been told use oil to lubricate its already running thru the system.

@@kmrjeep thanks for the tip!
great info .but dont you need to vacuum instead of just purging.
In a perfect world a vacuum should be pulled.
Do you know someone that over tightened those 4 bolts and broke them, then lost gas. 😂🤣
I still have nightmares about it 😂😂
