29:30: "You're the best Shelab!"
He's got a point, I don't know any better Shelabs on the whole island.
They WILL ask you to do things that you can’t do and are no where near being ready for so make sure you can do it before accepting a job. You won’t be able to make concrete until after John has a shop built.
It will also negatively impact your reputation with that person if you dont complete it, making it harder to get them to agree to move into your town.
I love your little songs.
There is a rock crushing machine you can buy from John when he opens up shop. You can use it to make cement.
What a lovely little game! Looking forward to seeing more!
Early game, try and catch Harlequin butterflies as they are worth 2,121 dinks each as opposed to the paltry 72 you get for each Fly. Plus props for trying to work things out, but in one case all you would end up with is hot rocks. And Birds will steal cooked foods if you leave them on the floor and walk away, though not always. Bit of a minor spoiler but John's favourite food is cooked croc meat
I am really enjoying this game, thanks Shelab for finding it and playing. I love the ferns they are so pretty. I like the shells because they look like what they are laying on the beach. 🐚🥘🌴🌴Looking forward to the next game. This is a game I would like to have.
Thank you for this video! 😀💐
Planting trees needs the shovel, dig hole / Drop seed / cover.
I have the same green plaid flannel pants :)
This looks like a relaxing game I will buy it on the soon as I can.
I have seen so many videos up for this game from many languages as well as countries. It is amazing
1:25 Ugh, you fell for it like I did. xD There quest aren't fully limited to what you can do unfortunately - for cement you need machine you can only buy from John's permanent shop.
You need to be careful before picking up a quest.
Maybe a shovel? for sand and concrete?
Rocks into the grinder makes cement/concrete.
Butterflies are great for money.
You can literally sell anything, even kangaroo poo
@@paulbrown6464 1 dink per poo
Better in your pocket than anyone elses, Sofia
@@paulbrown6464 I save them for fertilizer
To get cement, you need a Stone Grinder, which you can buy from John.
Also, you need multiple stations. 2 furnance : 1 copper, 1 tin. Finally, 1 more for Iron when you open a Mine and Quarry.
Finally, you need to click on daily quest since you dont get PP unless you turn them in even though they register as complete. PP is important as there many permits you need to unlock.
The 3 daily quest give you PP on their own, no need to click it. Milestones require you to claim them.
Unfortunately as noted by other replies asking things you can't do sometimes, stones in a stone grinder are the only way you can get bags of cement.
So….wallaby + kangaroo + horns would make it a……wallamoooo?
You mite be able to get cement from termite nests
You seem more comfortable with playing this game .... then on the waves ...
This is a cute game.
You can hear the flies?. Idk why but I never hear them
I wonder i you need a shovel to plant seeds? And I wonder if the bones are a crafting material...
Actually, I wonder if you need a landscaping license to plant trees?
no licence need to plant trees
are the point from the daylies auto collected or has shelab lost out on all the points
daily tasks give you the permit points when task completed automatically
Edited because it will not be relevant at the point when you finally read this. At this point the comment section is null and void. And people are pretty much wasting their time commenting hints or help.
I don't know for sure that Fletch is a vegetarian the issue is you didn't look in the quest log to see what she wanted for that job of something to eat you just Assumed it was anything edible, for all you know she didn't want Rib Meat but regular Meat.
She makes Meat on a Stick later, so don't think so. xD
Beside your stamina bar is a circle, that is your hunger, you can eat up to three things to fill it up and as a bonus it will fill up your stamina faster. Don't take jobs if you don't know what they are for. You need a " crusher " to make cement and put in your shiny stones but you can't get it until you build john a shop. As soon as you can get a shovel, get BOTH metal detecting licenses " you can't get a metal detector until you build john a shop" but with both license you will be able to see little "x" on the ground that you can dig up. You could make 30k+ a day just for this, " but look for the radio towers because they need some of these items too to fix them, they are fast travel stations.
you need an excavators license to use a shovel, then dig a hole drop in a seed and put the dirt back again, thatll grow trees you can also bury fruits for the trees
if the vegetarian doesnt say they are a vegetarian its not your fault for feeding them meat ... they failed to inform you of their dietary choice ...
Also a good way to make money is to buy the metal detector and sell everything you find with it.
Always keep keys and discs, though. They can be used for other stuff that gets you more money than their base sale prices.
If what I remember from primitive technology videos is right, you can make concrete by cooking shells to convert them into quicklime, and then mix that with aggregate. So I'm going to guess that putting shells in the furnace might result in concrete in the game?
It always is kinda weird that these games use money to be able to progress. And quite a bit of it also. I mean to pay for resources that are just lying around is odd at least.
