The male Heather duke wasn’t really good with projection and voice, but did great dancing wise. However the others weren’t the best in projection and voice either tbh. It’s nice to see some diversity tho
as someone who’s an amab agender that’s very masc-presenting but often identifies more with female characters in stories, that masculine Duke made me feel so seen
@@wornouthoodie having “fun” is not all that matters in a show. With him being a boy he obviously doesn’t have the looks, or the vocal range to be a heather. I mean just imagine in heathers 1989 instead of Shannon Doherty it was a man.
@@Shutup12356 unless it’s some broadway or professional production, (to me it seems like this was community theatre), then people do this because they’re having fun. Of course, I don’t mean goofing off and whatnot during rehearsal, but in the grand scheme of life- it’s just a bit of fun. I mean no disrespect to any professionals in theatre. Just sharing my opinion ☺️. And if he was in a role fit for his vocal range then maybe he would’ve done even better, so taking that into consideration, he wasn’t exactly “bad”. This is all just my opinion, of course.

The boy heather duke did so bad
Why? Obviously it's not going to be the same due to his physical features but he did quite well, it's unbearable, that's enough
he did pretty good imo. as long as he had fun that’s what matters
