Prowl does become part of Devastator in the graphic/novels. Since Scrapper died he had no choice. Good read.
What is a name of it?
It was catalogised in a series called "Transformers Combiner Wars". But Original title was "Till all are one".
But if scrapper died when prowl just become the The left foot

Whoa, you weren't overstating the difference this set makes on Devastator. The upgrades are subtle enough to not distract from the combined mode, but impactful enough to make a dramatic improvement to his appearance. Without the kit, it looked lean and lanky. Once added, the upgrades added enough heft to really make Devastator look bulky (in a good way) and more powerful. When looking over the components, the pieces that seemed fairly unnecessary to me were the thigh covers, but once in place the really broke up the green, tidied up the thigh fronts, and brought a visual balance to the overall figure. It goes to show the attention to detail Perfect Effect gave to this upgrade. Very well designed. You have done us all a huge service by highlighting this option to improve a toy many had believed needed nothing changed. Transformative, you might say.

That mixmaster, such a simple fix, makes wonder if hasbro have shares in the modding companies
its based on a real model of a mixer and I'm going to assume its also there to save on money

Very good video of the Combiner Wars Devastator upgrade kit, it looks really good and it's all in one pack, unlike some other Combiner Wars upgrades that have been separated. Awesome video, thumbs up.

I bought both PE upgrade sets when they first came out. The only flaw it had was the wrist ball joint being loose. Glad to see these sets are now rock solid.

At 23:19 "Prepare for Extermination!" Now, that's what I call Devastator! I think I'll get the Takara Devastator version and this, since the plastics are the same, but I want my bots to have individual weapons and some more articulation. The 26:26 This seems extremely unneeded, so I'll probably try to sell those Prowl pieces by themselves. Really awesome set of reviews!
Wow, those really do quite a job at improving the original. Really ingenious how some of the parts work!
Yeah there's some real ingenuity going on here. They've come a long way since the original rough looking wax repro casts filled with air bubbles. :D
As much as I'd love to indulge in this I'm unable to as Combiner Wars Devastator never came out in my area, only had wave one meaning four parts of Superion and one part of Menasor, wave three which gave me my first complete combiner and wave five I believe as the only complete combiners I have is Bruticus and Defensor.
This was a must have add on for me😃 it puts the figure on a whole new level of awesome 👏
I would love to get this upgrade kit for my dad's Devastator, and get upgrade kits for my Predaking. Especially seeing how nice they are here.

Great video. Going to pick this up finally. I really wish someone would include in their upgrade kit, a G1 like canopy piece for scrapper, plugs into the existing posts on him. It would break up that flat look of the leg by giving it only more depth, but giving it the appearance of a boot top, like how the top of Mixmaster is.
I wish I could find one of these.
I like the dk-01 upgrade more but I want both for the scooper and crane upgrade and the cab looks like modern mixed with classic and it has it own transformation

I went with the Takara Devastator so I passed on the arm & gun PE kit. But this was a great purchase. Mostly just because of Mixmaster's cab.

minor gripe of mine is that Mixmaster's foot makes the other foot look a little too small

Some of those upgrades look great, but some I don’t care for. I wish you could mix and match!
If you do not have the Unite Warriors version there is a reissue that is arriving now. Out of the 3, I picked the SDCC version because it has far better paint apps and chrome is not ideal, to be honest, but I am not afraid or worried about chipping it. Perfect Effect - PC-07 is for the 6 individual robots with comes with replacement arms and all the weapons I am sure that will be your next video. Another great investment is Toyhax stickers nothing overly stands out but it's done so if you see one without it feels off. The official Hasbro stickers that came out thru Robot Kingdom back in the day are pure garbage avoid them at all costs. Something that was missed is you can rotate the upper arms around to lower the arms if you want. This is one of Perfect Effect's last great kits there are others that have done wonders enough that people mix and match them Like DNA Design DK-01, X2 Toys XS001, Dr. Wu DW-P28. I am sure there is more like there were plans to make an entirely new mixmaster robot but it never made it to the final step. So check things please compare, videos like this help us the fans decide where to put our money and sadly Perfect effect is not the cheapest option, but at least we have options.
Devastator really is devastating, especially to your wallet, and Perfet Effect's upgrades are the extra one two punch. :P XD

The problem that my devastator had was a peg on hook was broken out of the box
I’ve just managed to get this upgrade kit for my UW Devastator. The new left wrist is quite loose however I’m going to try and fix that.
I’m not totally in love with the new shoulders, mainly because the arm bots treads go everywhere now but loving the purple bits and foot upgrade.
It’s funny that Perfect Effect reads IDW Combiner Wars.
Can they still transform into their individual robot mode with the upgraded parts attached?

love this series of video and keep up great work. You ever decide to check out dna designs upgrade kit. I have it along with perfect effect sets and dna designs work around arms is soooooo much better.
That Prowlstator doesnt really fit, since in that form Hook replaced Scrapper as a leg
yeah. for a real prowlstator 2 new figures, on of head prowl and one of leg hook, are whats needed
