To be fair, I didn’t know Ari wasn’t Canadian until last week. Like Zen, I thought that with her history with Haruka that they must have been school besties or something and that Ari was personally witnessing all the times Haruka was taking L’s from guys.
They talked about having the same friend group as teenagers so it's an easy mistake. I don't know if they physically went to school together at one point or if they were just close online friends.
