i vote the only stuffing 5’s and saving all the dollars - it makes it so exciting throughout the year to watch the pouch become busting and an exciting end of the year count video!! 🎉🎉
@@dawnboquist5473 oh, i didn’t mean saving the 5s, just the dollars! i don’t think it would work well in this case - maybe for variable spending but def not for savings binders! :)
I live to hear her count the 5s though! LOL Keep saving the 1s. I vote to add 5% of your take home to your buffers to handle additional overspending though. You seem to have a lot more of it now that you've combined finances. I also would increase haircuts since Colin gets them once a month and they are $40! WOWSA. My hubby's cost $20 with tip. We're spoiled. lol $173 a year for him.
$400 is my guess, I'm 6 minutes in. Definitely continue the $1 challenge. $540 in 1's crazy! $2400 in rewards! That's great! What a great bonus to add to your wedding!
I vote to continue the $1 challenge. I do digital budgeting and I’ve been tracking my virtual change (from rounding up to the next dollar when virtually unstuffing my purchases) and since October 10th I have over $140!
As someone who also was paid every 2 weeks (like Colton), I can tell you that for the year 2025, Colton will get his extra checks in May and October to help you plan accordingly this year. Hope this helps.
Congratulations on a great challenge year! I would be very interested in understanding how you reconcile your accounts with the prop money. It seems like it could get confused very quickly.
Great job with all of the savings. I was kind of hoping you'd use some of it to start up you're walk away fund. Like $1500 or something. Great choices though.
I'm guessing $427 before you completely count the $1 challenge && I like that you stuff to the nearest $5 because the end of the year counting is exciting to watch. Even if it's a long process.

@@Bri.Budgets okay good to know hahaha
$5 bill save sounds fun but challenging. You would have to decide when/what qualifies as a five you save/not spend.

Why do you count tax money as part of your net worth?
@@diklap because it’s money in my possession today (and I count it every year so I want to remain consistent)
Your sounds seems really low lately. Looking forward to this video.
