Just to add, Hercules in Marvel comics has always been portrayed fairly strong if not OP in his feats both when depowered, half powered (demigod) or full godhood. Herc originally was just a snarkier Thor, but later on he was changed to be a jolly hero because he treated most of his adventures as a vacation, but there have been plenty where he has been serious. I'm going to point out some feats of the regular Hercules to give some of the people on comments an idea of how strong Hercules is in Marvel (Also Marvel uses all 12th+1 Great Labours of Hercules as part of his canon). Feats: - He is the last Avenger to go down against Michael Korvac (an early godlike being) to the point of needed to be blasted twice. This was when Hercules was part of an Avengers roster that included Namor the Submariner, Thor and Hulk. - In a duel between Thor and Hercules where both represented their Pantheons, Hercules proved to be a superior fighter while in a drunken stupor against Thor so much so that Thor could not free himself of Hercules' hold, and had to summon his lightning to knockout Hercules. - When Zeus depowered Hercules, he went to drink himself under a bar, but when he discovered that the Masters of Evil assaulted the Avengers (and were getting beaten) Hercules jumped into the fray and aided the Avengers until all the heavy hitters of the Masters of Evil ganged up on him (again he was depowered to less than demigod), granted the beating he got left him in a coma that led the Avengers to raid Olympus and demand from Zeus to heal Hercules. - During the Twelve New Labors of Hercules he beats a number of the Moloid giant creatures on his own. That usually takes a group of Avengers or the Fantastic Four to beat just one. He also One Punch KOs The Abomination and sends him flying through multiple buildings (this was when Abomination was still a legit contender against Hulk, and also he was tasked to steal a Doom bot from Dr. Doom's guard, but accidentally kidnaps the real Dr. Doom and seals him inside a crate that was meant to be shipped back to Lateria after the show wrapped up. - During the finally of Marvel Civil War 1, Hercules eranged at the Clone of Thor (or Clor) for being an abomination created by Stark, Pym, and Richards, and for killing Bill Foster (Goliath) and takes the fake Mjolnir and Decapitates Clor while shouting "THOU. ART. NOT. THOR!". While that doesn't sound tough, I remind people that the clone was made using Thor's DNA to create the skin and muscle, in other words Hercules is strong enough to decapitate an Asgardian-Elder God (Thor is the son of Odin and Gaia, but is raised by Freyja as his son of flesh and blood). - During The Secret Invasion Hercules leads his own God Squad, and kills the Skrull God Kly'bn by using the spine of Demogorge as a spear after beating him up with his own hands. Kly'bn and his wife conquered and enslaved hundreds of Space God pantheons. - A Hydra poisoned Hercules sends Wonderman flying a few states and proceeds to beat Ares to a pulp. - During World War Hulk, Hercules and a very pissed off Hulk duke it out as Hercules intended to stop Hulk, but remembers that Hercules himself knows the anger and grief that the Hulk is going through and stops fighting Hulk and allows himself to be beaten while not defending himself (Hulk is not pulling punches here) this ends with Hercules pretty much shrugging off Hulk's assault and offered to aid him. - While depowered Hercules continued adventuring wile using Ares arsenal of mythical weapons (showing his more technical combatant side that he only used against enemies he didn't think he should hold back) - Hercules is actually better archer than Hawkeye. - Hercules stopped an entire Dark Elf invasion by mastering the Elvish Tickler. (I put this one in because it is humorous if you understand what it actually means) There are more feats, but I think those are enough.
I know this is a 3 year old comment but I just wanted to add more of his overpowered feats -He has lifted the heaven -Sent The Beyonder flying a few blocks by just a single punch -beats an outerversal being Mikaboshi -restored 98% of the multiverse -summoned an omniscient Eternity -beats a whole pantheon Egyptian Gods -beats his father Zeus empowered by Chaos King -Toyed both Sentry and Venom Spiderman at the same time He has many impressive feats. The irony is Hercules was literally one of the most popular heroes for centuries (talking real world history) characters like Thor didn't become more popular until the last few decades.
Uhm go do your history Thor has been around before Hercules has in fact the Norse/Scandinavia were the reason Greece and Rome remained in power/stable! Thor was far stronger than myth Hercules👉 Thor makes the giant cat lift its leg, but that was just an illusion. OutgardLoki explained afterwards that Thor had actually lifted Jormungandr, and Thor did it while standing on his toes. Hercules best feat of strength is generally assumed to be when he was holding up the sky, something Atlas, a Giant, did before him. After Perseus turned Atlas to stone the sky still balanced atop of him without crusing him, showing it was not heavy enough to crush mountains. Thor on the other hand crushed 3 mountains on his way to OutgardLoki. That shows that Thor even casually could outmatch Hercules in strength. Lifting Jormungandr from the ground was also something it was said no giant could ever have done, and Thor did it even without his belt of strength. With the belt Thor is twice as strong and should therefor be far stronger than Hercules.

He can fly, enhance his body for offence or defense at a level that can hurt the hulk or thanos, use energy type attacks, has ridiculous levels of speed, and continuously has to hold back cause of the danger of a single whisper. Chaos war was a great comic but it was kind of all over the place as far as power levels go. Chaos King was reported to have destroyed 99 percent of the multiverse and Hercules was able to hold his own a little bit against him. It would have made sense if he had gotten a multiversal power up instead of just a universal power up if it was universal that is. Getting powered up by those artifacts shouldn't be enough to take on the Chaos King. Those artifacts had power but they weren't universal or multiversal in power. If they were then the gods that held those artifacts would be universal or multiversal in power as well and as we all know they aren't. The mythological gods in marvel usually reside mostly below cosmic entities and Celestial level unless it's Set. He's the only one I know of who was implied to be Celestial level.
I believe Rob actually touched on that in the injustice bit. When plastic man calls Superman out and sinestro asks Superman if he wants him to "take care of plastic man" and Superman is just like. Dude. He'll fucking murder ALL of you. Hell the only reason Superman beats plastic man is his ability to blow super old air.
Wait you said “I don’t care Zeus shouldn’t be able to beat galactus” Man Odin has been in a GOOD fight with him(galactus) And marvel has said Odin and Zeus Are equals... What makes u say Zeus can’t do it?
ISingand DoOtherThings or toward Zeus ... In all honesty everyone is Ppl have the nerve to say Thor beats Zeus .... 🤣 no way Even the writers make it seem Odin is galactus tier while Zeus is WAYYYY lower idk I love Zeus but DC pays him better respect ✊ I do believe Odin beats Zeus (only cuz Odin and Thor are the “MAIN” gods of marvel but Lore wise idk man idk I go with Zeus And DC Zeus is so much more gangster than marvel version(kinda)
By good fight you mean a geared up full god mode Odin headbutted a hungry Galactus and just annoying Galactus and knocking himself out of the fight before Loki brought im the destroyer armour?
johnsmjs36 no I mean a good fight as an Odin did headbutt him but that head but used the Odin force and it cracked and shattered some of his helmet a good portion and we’ve never seen something like that Imo Odin shouldn’t have done that but he did Imo it was pretty gangster but Zeus ? They wouldn’t even dare make him do that to galactus so it’s ridiculous how much more powerful Odin is and there stated to be equals For it being a fast fight I found that page awesome
For real he didn't blink when galactus easily wiped out dormamu but didn't like that fact that zeus won? How many people in comic book history have gone toe-to-toe with galactus? Too many as far as i'm concerned.

Hercules is a pretty coo character. For a legend with such interesting mythology, I don't think he has ever reached his potential. Herc's Admantine Mace is coo af & Hercules is a way better Hand to Hand combatant than he gets credit for.
Much like She-Hulk, Herc has been in way too many screwy stories to be taken seriously any more. It'll take more than just a story arc to undo the damage. Unfortunate.
His 2016 run did a lot for him (hell it was one of my first comics so maybe I'm a bit biased). Its the fact that I think its hard to get every comic writer to understand he doesn't drink booze anymore. He's sobered up and he wants to do good
I'd be interested in reading some Hercules comics. It makes sense to me he is as strong as the Hulk and Thor. In mythology he held up the heavens for Atlas. Thats strong.
I've always loved Herc, even if he's been overlooked & underused. That's why I was so happy when he really, (finally) got a chance to shine in the 1st Civil War. In terms of superhumanly strong & durable heroes/villains, Hercules is in my top 10, even my top 5, alongside Thor, the Black King(Sebastian Shaw), Hyperion, Blue Marvel, Juggernaut, Namor, Rogue, Gladiator, Colossus & Thanos
Love how Rob will say he doesn't know when he doesn't know. Very refreshing haha. Would love to see (hear) Rob do a piece on Marvel's Conan. Savage Avengers and Conan is shaping up.
This is pretty interesting to see Hercules. I do share your opinion. I prefer Thor over Hercules. Still, it's nice to see Hercules getting some spotlight.
Who wants a Rob cameo where deadpool is fighting and realizes its something that has happened in a comic so he stops and runs away to ask an " expert". He just kicks in robs door and tells the Comic expert guy to tell him how to defeat something.
"If your going to correct someone make sure your right yourself" Well first off, youre wrong because I think you meant to say you'r. Second we all know he hails from Disneylothian Mythology which predates every tale known to man.
Rob, can we get one on Warlock. Think about it, hes a technarch. Even without the new information from Hickman that still puts his power crazy high. I just think it's an interesting character.
I love these. So much changes in comics and there is the multiverse to consider. This and your video on beyond omega level Gambit are awesome. Can you do one on Magik after she become the sorcerer supreme?
Ah-HaHa 🤣‼️ That rewind @ the end was funny. Always giving You thumbs up 👍🏾 because You (& Your Team) do great work on this Channel. You Are Awesome Rob.

Hercules is and always will be one of my favorite heroes.
A really powerful character is Plastic Man and I believe he deserves a video
A yes the greates arch enemies of the ninja turtles aslo straw man
Love Plastic Man
OP & underrated at the same time
I believe Rob actually touched on that in the injustice bit. When plastic man calls Superman out and sinestro asks Superman if he wants him to "take care of plastic man" and Superman is just like. Dude. He'll fucking murder ALL of you. Hell the only reason Superman beats plastic man is his ability to blow super old air.
7:35, looks like rob got his hands on the time stone
I really wanna see beyond omega level daredevil cause I miss him from the Netflix already
Great stuff Rob. Keep it up
Wait you said “I don’t care Zeus shouldn’t be able to beat galactus”
Man Odin has been in a GOOD fight with him(galactus)
And marvel has said Odin and Zeus
Are equals...
What makes u say Zeus can’t do it?
Agreed he is biased towards galactus Man
ISingand DoOtherThings or toward Zeus ...
In all honesty everyone is
Ppl have the nerve to say Thor beats Zeus .... 🤣 no way
Even the writers make it seem Odin is galactus tier while Zeus is WAYYYY lower idk I love Zeus but DC pays him better respect ✊
I do believe Odin beats Zeus (only cuz Odin and Thor are the “MAIN” gods of marvel but
Lore wise idk man idk I go with Zeus
And DC Zeus is so much more gangster than marvel version(kinda)
By good fight you mean a geared up full god mode Odin headbutted a hungry Galactus and just annoying Galactus and knocking himself out of the fight before Loki brought im the destroyer armour?
johnsmjs36 no I mean a good fight as an Odin did headbutt him but that head but used the Odin force and it cracked and shattered some of his helmet a good portion and we’ve never seen something like that
Imo Odin shouldn’t have done that but he did
Imo it was pretty gangster but Zeus ?
They wouldn’t even dare make him do that to galactus so it’s ridiculous how much more powerful Odin is and there stated to be equals
For it being a fast fight I found that page awesome
For real he didn't blink when galactus easily wiped out dormamu but didn't like that fact that zeus won? How many people in comic book history have gone toe-to-toe with galactus? Too many as far as i'm concerned.
I seriously love the fun facts you put in the vids
*Future episodes ideas*
Lucifer morningstar/ Michael demiurgos, nix uotan (super judge), mandrakk, perpetua, abraxas , monarch (captain atom), any of the endless, divine/omega spawn, high farther. a revamped episode on Mathew malloy (because that vid is over 4 years old), tyrant, Jamie Braddock, a list of all of legions omega level personality's, cyttorak, that one guy that naruto ran behind the reporter at the area 51 raid., barbatos from dark knights metal, the anti moniter, mephisto
"that one guy that naruto ran behind the reporter at the area 51 raid"- you sir are a genius lol. You win
The issue with Matthew Malloy is that nothing has changed with his character since he came to be so a new video on him is moot
@strifenineteen well i know that but robs style has changed so much since then. 4 years ago he was the stereotype of the boring lecturer that would read things in a bland monotone voice. now he injects so much personality i feel like the video would be vastly better if he re did it with his modern style
same with his coverage on the infinity gauntlet story line
matthew malloy is the goat... so powerful he erased himself from any future comics.
After months of requesting and waiting, you've finally came through with this video. Thanks Rob
Hercules is a pretty coo character. For a legend with such interesting mythology, I don't think he has ever reached his potential.
Herc's Admantine Mace is coo af & Hercules is a way better Hand to Hand combatant than he gets credit for.
6:44 OH NO! Flying Black Widow!
Hey man, when are you going to talk about Spawn?
Kevin Sorbo Heracles was amazing.
Hey Rob, please do Lucifer morning star
Nicely done good editing, rewind meta recognised & respected 😜
Much like She-Hulk, Herc has been in way too many screwy stories to be taken seriously any more. It'll take more than just a story arc to undo the damage. Unfortunate.
Both the dc and Marvel version is too often used as a joke
True. DCs version just showed up in WW out of nowhere only to get killed.
@j mtx That's how I feel about Joker. I just can't take him seriously anymore. Such a clusterfck.
Hercules is skilled without now add this power even more impressive.
Please do Worlds Funnest Mxy.
Hercules needs to replace Thor down the road.
Nay Hercules is gay 🗣
@NATIONALIST #PATRIOT what?
Hercules is awesome. No he isn't gay. He fucks She-Hulk in the reg
In fact the perfect New Avengers team would be
Captain America(Bucky)
War Machine
Hercules
She-Hulk
Ant-Man
Wasp
Vision
@@dommydench4693 in a alternate universe Hercules kissed wolverine
6:21 😂😂😂 Just like how Nimrod shouldn't be able to beat Apocalypse lol.
Bruce Almighty too powerful for marvel movies
I can't believe I have never seen this!?! Thank you
No wonder they didnt continue the Hercules book with stories like this.
Normal viewers: Click away at "...and I'll catch you later"
Rob Corp viewers: gotta wait for the pause and the 'peace' 😆
In my Opinion HERCULES the prince of power himself was Always better than Thor & Every single Avenger.
What do you mean "better"
@@maltesre9032 like a better marvel character in history of marvel like he is the best of all heroes
@@erenyeager9028 even tho it's and opinion I always thought Thor had far better villains than Hercules.
Hercules in the comics is often mocked, belittled and disgraced. But he is always on the right side of things.
Okay am I the only one who thought rob rewinding the video to do his ending made it that much cooler?
I love your vids and I'm first I wanna guest on one i love comics
Still waiting for a good annihilation explain....annihilation conquest also....keep on going Rob !! Love it !
Necro god Loki too powerful for marvel movies
Love how Rob will say he doesn't know when he doesn't know. Very refreshing haha. Would love to see (hear) Rob do a piece on Marvel's Conan. Savage Avengers and Conan is shaping up.
The beyonder too powerful for marvel movies
Please Hercules to MCU, hell yeah !!!!
Lucy played by Scarlett Johansson too powerful for marvel movies
Beyond Omega Level: Mickey Mouse with the Sorcerer's hat.
I know why you're here
Herc boutta go off in the mcu, at least I hope
So I can break dance
Thank you for the fire content
Godkiller Iron Man too powerful for marvel movies
Stuff like this is why I dislike power scaling in Marvel, it's all over the place.
I love Hercules in marvel COMICS. He is even better than thor in my opinion
& any AVENGER.
Funny, MCU Thor is Hercules. 😆😆😆
@@joneshugh yeah in a way.
For whatever reason the ending was my favorite part of this video that was awesome Rob
Ok I have to say it Hercules is from Roman miths Heracles is from Greek miths
Technically your wrong its heracles never Hercules. Also mythology not mith, if your going to correct someone atleast make sure your right yourself
"If your going to correct someone make sure your right yourself"
Well first off, youre wrong because I think you meant to say you'r.
Second we all know he hails from Disneylothian Mythology which predates every tale known to man.
Gandalf Niebieski and what about Achilles
@@lucdallaire9047 what about him?
7:36 how you know you have a great editor
Rob, can we get one on Warlock. Think about it, hes a technarch. Even without the new information from Hickman that still puts his power crazy high.
I just think it's an interesting character.
Love ur videos. Helps me find the comics i am wanting to read.
Ace Ventura ..pet detective ...let's see that in super slow mo... 😂
We hear about Eternity a lot and he's one of my favorites. Can we get a update? Especially since MCU is going cosmic.
I think Hercules is one of the most underrated superhero ever.
I want Rob to speculate about the future of the Hulk in the MCU as his character has essentially been written out.
Hercules has always been my favorite Greek legend.
I’m so glad you did this video I know I requested this a while back ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Holy shit Rob used a script I thought I’d never see the day. He has so much knowledge on comic books yet he always used to ramble and it bugged me, but I think using a script is an improvement as long as he keeps that flare and personality that we all love.
Chaos King: *exists"
Butters: hold my bee-
Butter's Dad: YOU'RE GROUNDED
Love your channel waiting for Manhattan looking forward to it . Great stuff . Great narration and love your full stories.
Would love to see Mr. Majestic and Dr. Multiverse
Man you should do prince of power. I love that storyline an oldy but goody.
Beyond Omega Level: My Mom When I Miss 3 Calls Back to Back
Man I miss the old openings of your vids thought it was the best I've seen on here
Thank you for making this
Great Video Rob!!! I love any stories of the different pantheons & how they compare?
I've been waiting for you to cover this guy
Can you cover slapstick? Always loved the idea about a guy with the powers of a cartoon character..
Zeus took out Galactus? Dang! My mind is blown. I gotta get these comics!!
