    can you possibly blend hot ingredients for a soup for example roasted tomatoes pumpkins etc?

    Means it has a lock sensor. Must lock the lid and place it properly to make it work.

    For anybody who reports new pro blender not working --- Note ::
    This Philips is with new feature - it contains double locking 🔒
    1st turn close wise normally for 1st lock- later slightly press the jar and move close wise for 2nd lock you hear tik sound ---- later yippee Your mixer is magic 🎉

      Hi, thanks for your interest. You can! Do make sure not to use more than 25-75 g, and not to blend for longer than 30 seconds at a time.

      @@PhilipsHomeLiving not much to elaborate on, since its a 3 piece blender with one dial. I set it up as shown on on box, turned the dial and nothing happened. Even checked a review vid to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Checked my power source, the fuse, made sure everything was correctly in place and it just wouldn't work. Now I have to go through the pain of sending it back to amazon.

The blender has a safety lock, and this feature ensures that you can only switch on the appliance if the blender jar or accessories are assembled on the motor unit properly. If the blender jar or accessories are correctly assembled, the built-in safety lock will be unlocked. Could you kindly check the parts have been assembled correctly and try again?       @@PhilipsHomeLiving I'm pretty sure I didn't mess up assembling the 3 piece blender, but just for you I tried again. I made sure not one piece could even budge before turning it on. I even had different members of my family attempt to assemble the blender. None of this worked and I doubt it's my end that's faulty.

      @@PhilipsHomeLiving we have what everyone else has done, also tried to unlock multiple time but the motor doesn't work at all. It's funny everyone here has the same problem but your team hasn't made a small tutorial video about it. I shall return it tomorrow
