At 9:18 as soon as you enter the RWS building idk if you know this already but if you turn right there's a window you can smash and climb through leading to a little outside area, and there should be some weapons you can pick up. Usually some cash and a health pipe too I think as well as a couple Krotchy grenades. Unless maybe they don't let you go through the window on Ludicrous difficulty?
Might I suggest an alternative, try uploading the original version to a different site(which rhymes with crumble)to offer the BuffWizard Director’s Cut for those who can’t afford multiple UA-cam memberships(if it gives you the ability to see the original version).
For the milk task you need to step into the store enough for the line to load, exit and find the ladder behind the building. There is a health pipe, donuts, a shotgun, cats, and a gas can. By the time you've collected them the line will have passed, making the milk purchase in and out.
Being completely honest I've made my way. Correction. Struggled my way to friday. Its complete RNG. One of my main go to strats has been for the NPC's to spawn with something that causes fire and just let them kill themselves. The best gun so far for me has been the machine guns as its the one I'm regularly getting ammo for. The handgun is a trade device. You're gonna trade every time you use it almost. Bladed weapons ARE NOT as powerful as they once were. The axe is. But you have to charge it all the way up and you have to hit them square in the head. The fish locator being not infinite and not being available actually shoots the difficulty to the stratosphere. When you do have one you can actually see the NPC's spawning in randomly or ontop of one another, so that's lovely.
I only made it through impossible because I knew about that one bass sniffer upgrade in the sewers and knew about walking the telephone wires to that one area...once I saw they deactivated the bass sniffer addons AND nerfed catnip I was like hellno
I find it charming how RWS still keeps Postal 2 up-to-date even 2 decades after its release, i wouldn't be surprised if in the future we get another expansion for this game like Paradise Lost
I see that being a task of the modders. I'm still waiting for an updated Eternal Damnation mod. RWS is still busy updating and adding content to Postal 4.
When i was doing a ludicrous difficulty run, i tried treating Postal 2 like a stealth game at many parts, used some skips, went into secret places, like the backyard of Ganesh which has catnip, the basement below Ganesh and Library, which has a rocket launcher on Monday and a sledgehammer on Tuesday (i only got a machete on Thursday), or bushes on the ledge near the bank where you can find a sniper rifle. I tried to stockpile as many catnip as i could and kicked cola vending machines so i could stockpile cola. Fire attacks wasn't much effective (some ablaze hostiles could still shoot me). In general, you need to know where the secrets, the collectibles and the triggers are, use all that the game gives you to your advantage. Some changes i've noticed while doing a week run (you might've noticed those already, but maybe someone else will read this comment): - Crack pipe only regenerates 30 hp, then takes 75% of your health off. - Catnip lasts only for 20 seconds. - You can only carry a specific amount of weapons in each slot, for example - 3 melee weapons, 2 shotguns, 2 rocket launchers, e.t.c. - Decapitation or a buckshot to the head will instantly kill the Dude. - The ammunition you can carry is halved. - Broken timer: it doesn't count thr time spent correctly and also starts off at 69 hours (is this supposed to be funny?). - And well, obvious is that citizens can carry melee weapons, throwables or 1 or 2 of the firearms, even the nuke launchers. The hardest part of the run for me was Sunday, the part where Dude fights his way in the military base, especially the beginning, since you are stripped from your weapons until section 4 and you fight with what you find.
@@jt0x you know, this military base escape on Ludicrous difficulty is absolute rng, i think i had over what, 200 deaths before i got out? Even with the sawed off shotgun i acquired in the middle of escaping and a grenade launcher i had a lot of pain while trying to advance. Trying to amass weapons in the monday was also difficult, monday indeed left me broken. Yes, there are pistols, shotguns and assault rifles near the start, but there isn't much ammo for all heads in the city to be shot. You could relate to the Postal 1 dude while surviving 5 days (or a week like i did) in Hel... i mean, Paradise! I feel really proud that i could finish it. In the end, i killed 1212 NPC's, half of those being terrorists, policemen and military servants. Sadly, can't tell the time it took me because the timer on Ludicrous difficulty is broken: it starts off at 69:00:00 (hahaha) and the time wasn't correctly counted by the game.

I always liked how on the hardest difficulties the death tips changed entirely to give you actually relevant advice for someone who's definitely beaten the game on a normal difficulty already. I think the lowest one that does that is POSTAL, which is also the highest difficulty I'm ever going to bother actually finishing. Seems like they even changed a couple for Ludicrous, I don't remember the "get a machete ASAP" tip that pops at 4:55 in my POSTAL run, and both tips at 6:11 are also new considering they only apply to Ludicrous anyway.
I've said this before on another video but I'm just gonna say it again here for shits and giggles; if it was still 2003 they would have called this difficulty "Bin-Laden Mode"
