Fun story about sports: For most of the history of the Olympics, skeet shooting was a mixed sport, where men and women could both compete. In 1992, a woman from China not only took the gold, but set a new world record in the sport. In 1996, women were banned from competing in the sport, and since 2000, women were made to shoot in a separate category, where they only shoot 75 targets per stage where the men's category continues to shoot 125, ensuring that women can no longer shoot a better score than men. So yeah...
Also, the original reason sports were segregated was to exclude women by relegating them to a separate division, not protect them. Women who played sports were disparaged as being too "manly" or as being lesbians, as if that's a bad thing. The biggest problems in women's sports today are lack of funding, lack of media coverage, and under regulation.
@@FrozEnbyWolf150 a MAJOR reason men often perform better than women in sports is also exactly that... little boys are taught they should play soccer or basketball or w/e sport and are pushed and pushed and pushed and trained and a LOT of money goes into it... little girls are taught they can be mothers...
Yeah I've heard that about other sports too. Doesn't surprise me much there are sports where hormones could make a difference but in most, if you train hard it's mostly technique.
Our primary school's Rugby coach was a woman. She was in her mid 40s and retired from the provincial rugby team. Some kid's very sexist dad refused to have a woman be his son's coach, so the coach said that if the dad could beat her in a 1v1, she'd agree to step down and let a man be coach instead. She absolutely destroyed him. This woman was built for rugby. She was a beast 🤣 The dad actually gained some respect for her and acknowledged that she's an excellent coach and fit to teach his son.
I definitely think it should be more accessible, but idk that it should switch all the way into "easy," at least not for medical transition because all medicine carries risks. Social transition though? Who is that going to get hurt if people start wearing different clothes and using different pronouns? That should absolutely be easy and safe for people to do And more people need to go to therapy and the doctor in general, not just when something bad happens or they go through a life change or whatever
Yep. And they straight up call you a liar for saying any differently. I had a transphobe tell me a 12 year old girl could walk into a hospital and get a hysterectomy that day, then tell me to stop lying when I said I'd been trying to get one for 5 years as an adult for **medical** reasons and had no luck (ended up getting it 7 years into trying). Like WTF, no one is walking into a hospital, asking for elective surgery and being handed a gown, let alone a kid under the age of medical consent.
Ikr?! Like, I'm not even trans and I know it takes YEARS...and whenever they mask taking the piss out of people as "arguments" they talk about it like you can just waltz into a hospital, say you're trans and get the yummy forbidden hormones...mate you ain't bloody buying potatoes at your local food market 💀
@@waffles3629It just shows you they do not want to listen or to be educated on a serious subject. They just enjoy the fear. It’s kinda their thing. The more fear they have, the more purpose I guess they have? I can’t remember. I left religion a mere seven years ago and I honestly can’t recall why I felt the need to fear everything.
I always wondered do transphobes really think we frame pictures of our past selves? Like I literally don't have a single photo of myself before transition, I even threw childhood photos into garbage, why would I frame that stuff.
I mean unless the magical all in one operation was really recent and you like looking at yourself without a mirror I don't know why you would have a picture of yourself in your house
And by the way, transition goals! If she looked like in the picture and post transition became a blondie with big boobs and a stunning bod that's really amazing, wish I could pull something like that off
i only have one pic displayed of me before my top surgery, and thats cause me and my sister did the old timey photos thing and it was a really good memory. but one day i wanna do the old timey photo thing again but this time dress as a dude!
All you gotta do to show a creepy diatopia that brainwashes ppl is just show America, and change the name America with some other goal. "don't worry kids, she'll learn" yeah, that's how ppl used to talk about queer ppl, it's almost like they know their reality is messed up, but don't mind it as long as its a reality they are comfortable in
I didn’t know that the pledge of allegiance existed until I was like 13. The idea that kids are forced to recite a speech to a flag every day is so strange. That’s some cult-like behaviour.
It's still so insane to me that people in the US were reciting this "pledge of allegiance" throughout most or all of their school careers regardless of belief. I was in 1st or 2nd grade when I stopped (that would be around 6 or 7 years old). I didn't/don't believe in a god, and I knew that religion and school were to be separated (without yet knowing why). I went to school across the US, moving a lot. It wasn't like I got a free pass, I would get in trouble for it here and there, but it was mild. I don't know that I faced any real repercussions. I've heard of schools trying to take things to the extreme to force kids but as far as I'm aware, the division between church and state as well as freedom of religion were two major reasons the students typically were able to exercise their rights. I'm in my early 30s though, and I don't know that it would be as easy across the US today, simply because of fundies and the increasingly blurred lines regarding religion in schools. For example, I lived in Knoxville, Tennessee for awhile as a kid right after 9/11. If I were in school there today, I honestly don't know if the law would even be on my side anymore.
@@thatlilly Not forced. Mostly, kids are encouraged to and might bc of social expectations, but over the past decade there has been a sharp decline in kids who actually recite it versus just standing up and pretending to. Lots of schools have abolished it in states that let them.
The best part is that it was written by a Socialist and the words were changed several times, just to make it more "patriotic." Francis Bellamy had hoped originally that any country could us it. Until 1954 when Eisenhower had "Under God" added as an artifact of the Cold War so the US could claim moral high ground because we weren't "godless communists." The original was: "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." *Liberty and Justice for all buffering*
The hypocrisy is overwhelming. The person holding the Bible is the one whining. "You're not living right according to my religion!" And Christianity use to be pushed in schools and they're worried about kids just finding out there are other options in life other than the ones pushed on us.
True!!! It annoys me so much that people just keep repeating that it's grammatically wrong instead of bothering to frickin learn. Another fact, 'neopronouns' (anything outside of her, him and them) have also existed for way longer than you think! For ex. in the 1800s they had "thon" that was short for "that one" Edit: Oh dear there's someone very angy in the replies bc I dared to mention neopronouns. Very sorry for uhhh wanting fellow nonbinary people to be accepted in society, how "narcissistic" of me
In the chronicles of knowledge, thy claim stands firm, Yet science's grasp oft slips, a fleeting term. Whilst notions of gender's flux may softly rise, Proof eludes, as truth veils 'neath shifting skies. In nature's vast stage, where life's drama plays, The mysteries of gender, in veiled arrays. To unlink it from sex, a daring leap indeed, Requires evidence, a profound decree. Thus, in the halls where reason's light doth gleam, Let not assumptions cloud truth's lucid stream. For in science's arcane, truth's essence shall sway, Revealing secrets hid 'neath night's array.
LGBTQ+ education for kids is literally just -Some people have two daddies or two mommies -If you're a girl who likes girls or a boy who likes boys that's okay -Not everyone is a boy or a girl and that's okay -If everyone tells you you're a girl but you feel like a boy or vice versa it's okay to be who you feel you are inside It's that simple.
@@mydiamonds8912 as an aroace person I wish someone had told me this when I was younger!! The confusion little 13 year old me had when everyone around me was talking non stop about crushes and I didn’t feel that was a lot. To the outside world they see it as cross dressing because they refuse to educate themselves on trans. But for me it's dressing as my correct gender sooooo 😊
I think that if they just replace that with something else and remove the brainwashing thing, this comic would actually be kinda metal. Also if it was created by a trans person, this is a god-tier shitpost and i love it
@@V1zkusthis artist repeatedly makes comics theat end up on acidental ally, there is one where they drew something like "chose", and one one side it's a gender queer person as a superhero and the text is "adventure, mistery, fun, self discovery" and on the "or" side, it's just a bored girl in a plain room and it says "be cis". Idk how they thought that comic was anti trans, but ok
As a non-binary person in their 30's I always wonder why they're so focused on children and teens. It's gives off certain "other vibes". I frequently comment about how it's not a phase and share my age(ish) for 2 reasons. 1. To counteract the argument that being non-binary is fake and a social pressure situation, and 2. So that hopefully if a non-binary kid or teen ends up on that page they can see that it is possible to grow up and be non-binary. It's totally okay and not a phase.
Also NB and a bit halfway there myself, honestly feels a little wild that people need to be reminded that they're talking to adults. it doesn't help that I'm also autistic
honestly even if it WAS a phase, i never understood why that matters. a kid identified as enby but then later realized they weren't? cool, they got to explore their identity and now have a better understanding of who they are. going through phases is a natural part of life, we as humans are constantly ever changing. just because something doesn't last forever doesn't mean it's meaningless or less valid
If the "reptilian overlord" had ended with the hiss/her pronouns panel, it would've been genuinely funny. I love silly pronoun jokes like that, and the first three panels by themselves could pass as that. And then it just... kept going. And going.
@@Lokear If I'm recognizing the art style correctly that artist has an astonishing ability to make transphobic stuff that, if you didn't know about their consistent hateful messaging, would almost come off as supportive, or possibly even anti-Cis, as they tend to make trans associated stuff really flamboyant and colorful, or the alien overlord stuff, etc. I guess to "because LGBTQ colors bad" actually, but a lot of them taken alone makes it like "Wow, trans and other LGBTQ people are really cool and dynamic and straight cis people are bland and boring". Which also wouldn't be good messaging, obviously, but it's funny that their anti-Trans stuff sometimes parses like that.
@@thaddeusgenhelm8979the comic is called sinfest, the artist is a feminist which makes it wild to me that they're queerphobic in general, not just transphobic. they have some other progressive views so it really was a shame they fell down this rabbit hole i remember they made a comic about a boy who picked up a doll and then was sent to "boy camp" and had to be really masculine and fit into those gender roles, but when he didn't he got sent to "girl camp". at first it seems like an analogy for cisnormative gender roles and how people expect men and women to fit the roles of their gender and would berate them if they act otherwise and try to force them into them but no.... knowing their views it was about trans people. and it's wild to me that they think trans ppl are trying to push gender norms bc it's literally one of the main things they fight against lmao
@@AstronomicalJelly I'm reminded of a comment I once saw that, in essence, to be truly effective in seeking equality and such Feminism needed, like, inherently to reject demands for gender normativity, as forcing such expectations on people was part of what made such systems problematic and unfair, that to reject the trans, the queer, etc... And yeah, that sequence seems like the sort of set up to help make that point, that we do no one any service by demanding they conform to such stereotypes. "Look how the cisnormative system can trample on people just for not acting their gender enough, this is part of why systems based on enforcing gender conformity are bad, actually." It is pretty out there how often people who reject trans people seem to have such poor understandings about what they're even talking about when they do so. Recently had someone yelling at me (well, using tense verbage in a comment, anyway) about how he doesn't want teachers telling 5 year old students they could "be any species they wanted to be" and I'm like "... Did someone tell you that, or did you make that up to be angry about? Because I don't think that's a real thing." I don't understand how people develop such strong opinions about stuff when they don't seem to know anything about it.

The Dr. Money thing happened in my hometown, & it was a big deal in the LGBTQA+ community where I'm from. The boy later unalived himself in 2004 after his brother died of an overdose. Money has a _lot_ to make up for.
"oh you woke people loooove doctor money, but actually he-" "nah, we actually hate him" "oh... Well you love Biden so much, how come he-" "we don't like him at all, we just wote for him cuz he's the lesser evil, we'd gladly wote him out of office if there was a better option" "..... Well this artist said-" "do you think we just blindly love anyone who supposedly representing our side, or is supposedly supporting us?" "well I..." "is that how you treat the people who represent ur side? Blindly follow them even if they are terible people, misrepresented ur arguments and disagree with you on every other subject?" "... No....... SHUT UP"
The thing that gets me most is, like... John Money's thesis was on the *transphobe's* side. Trans-affirming people are the ones who think people have a gender identity that's so important you need to affirm it to keep people alive and healthy. John Money and the transphobes believe there's nothing but your "basic biology", no such thing as gender identity, which is the whole reason Money thought he could simply change David Reimer's biology to make him live as a girl.
As someone who literally first heard of what John Money did in the context of how he did it because he thought gender did NOT exist independently of socialization, and the result proved him wrong, it's utterly baffling to me that transphobes apparently think he's the origin of trans ideas about gender. (It's also why I think it's strange when people who think they're being trans-affirming say "gender is a social construct". Gender roles are a social construct, but gender identity is not determined by them.)

17:30 There's a meme going around in the artist scene, that's a reclaiming of this very stereotype. The original meme showed a woman and a men and between them a list of color names, the woman side had all the specific names while the man side had the basic names. The reclaimed meme has named the woman "traditional artist" and the man "digital artist" though, which fits perfectly XD Because digitally, you don't care about color names (programs don't show them), but traditionally you do (because all kinds of artist pens and pencils have specific shade names XD)
Especially since out the other corner of their mouth they constantly go on about how kids are being brainwashed into being trans, when this story disproves that very point. After that kid couldn't be brainwashed into being trans when he was for all intents and purposes medically transitioned before he could even form strong memories, how could there possibly be a "pandemic" of kids with developed personalities being brainwashed into thinking they're trans?
More men than women are color-blind, as it is an X-chromosome issue ("sex-linked"), but that doesn't mean NO women are colorblind. If you are mildly colorblind, aqua and sky blue appear to be the same color. Colorblind men were used as planespotters during the war, as they were "immune" to certain types of camouflage. It can also be an advantage in hunting for fossils, as they are not misled by colors.
I spotted that too. I work with a cis woman who’s had two biological children and she is literally red/ green colourblind. Makes the whole point irrelevant. 😂
Yup, and even people with say DID can’t just have rent increased for that (partly because, having multiple identities driving one body at different times, they still only have one lifetime available to them). Otherwise I’d have to pay 7 people’s rent on one lifetime’s income stream (DID, for those who don’t know, used to be referred to as multiple personality disorder. It’s a defence mechanism that the brain sometimes uses for severe early childhood trauma that protects part of the brain from its effects (for instance, the part that remembers the trauma often gets locked at a certain mental age while the rest can develop without, in many cases, even knowing that the trauma happened). People with the condition are typically not dangerous (though every group has bad eggs)), something rightly deemed infeasible by any person with a working brain.
A, slightly serious, possibly controversial, mostly humorous take: _"There are only two genders!"_ I agree. There's "mine", and there's "that of the others".
also, technically, the idea of there only being 2 genders still allows agender, bigender and genderfluid (between the binary genders) to exist since none of those technically involve any "new" genders ;)
@21:34 This just shows they do NOT understand Super Mario. Nintendo stated that Mario is the type of guy who's kind to everyone because he's traveled all over and met all sorts of people. Mario wouldn't be a transphobe. Also in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, he befriended a trans person named Vivian (a character working for the main antagonist who's constantly being bullied by her sisters for being trans) and she joins Mario in his adventure.
The original US version of the thousand year door rudely omitted that detail about her, when it was present from the start in the Japanese version. But I heard the recent remake restored it, which is fantastic; it also made transphobes get really mad, which is also fantastic.
@@HorseDe-luxeI'm playing the remake now and it's awesome. They did in fact confirmed she's a trans girl and the reactionaries are in denial or infuriated about it to the point of boycotting it. This just proves that they see censorship as them being denied something instead of preserving an artist's vision.
But don't you know, Vivian is actually an otokonoko! That's a mistranslation because I can pick and choose other lines from the game that prove my point, and completely ignore Vivian's plaintext!
@@Dashie04 Um you are aware that the game was made in 2004, right? That's 20 years ago. Many people didn't understand trans people and just lumped it with cross dressing or being gay or it was the only way to get pass the censors to have a trans character in a E rated game. We have a better understanding these days of what the differences are so the old translation may be out of date. Vivian being trans makes way more sense because crossdressing doesn't involve preferred pronouns/gender affirmation. Also how is she cross dressing if all she has is that candy cane striped witch's hat and gloves? Her hair being a wig? Also it's hinted that she has a crush on Mario , so she's either a femboy crushing on a man or a trans girl crushing on a man. Either way, she's a queer rep.
19:30 Fun fact, there have been a couple canonically transgender pokemon characters! In Pokemon XY there was a trans woman character in the Battle Maison called Beauty Nova. She references having been a Black Belt before (a male only class of trainers) and the wonder of modern medicine. (Beauty is a female only trainer class) There was also the trans boy character Akari in the pokemon manga: How I became a Pokemon Card
I recall that the first time round, there was a "send all the sub-humans to Madagascar" plan before the "kill them or put them in concentration camps" plan, though not much came of it.
I find it kinda funny how transphobes say "Biological" women/men in reference to sex assigned at birth, when biological sex is just as complex and fluid as gender identity.
Gasp! How dare you add complexity to biology! It's always been super simple. My 3rd grade science class would never oversimplify things to make it easier for 8 year olds to understand!

People who think biology is cut and dry haven't done a single ounce of research and really need to keep such words out of their mouth until they complete at least one college-level course on the subject before trying to discriminate based on science.
7:24 “I don’t care.” is one type of people. Equally worse are those who say “Yes, it’s ok to be who you are but I dont agree with most of your thoughts.” like this is not a ‘pineapple on pizza’ debate lol
I think when transphobes say "I don't care" they are trying to put on some kind of cool guy persona. They just say whatever they want and "don't care" because they're just that cool. Gets annoying pretty quickly.
@10:11 Imagine being so filled with hate that someone just trying to live their happiest life they can makes you angry. I'm a Christian and the Church I went to in my home town said this about trans individuals: "Sometimes, a woman's soul might wind up in a man's body or a man's soul might wind up in a woman's body. When that happens, we should accept that the gender of the soul is the correct gender, as the soul is immortal while the body is not. We should help these people shape their bodies to match their souls. To deny them their happiness is to ignore one of the two things that Jesus said was most important above all else: Love your neighbor as you would love yourself."
Thank you for sharing! I am agnostic, but I always love it when I hear Christians being accepting. I know many LGBTQ+ Christians have a hard time, because it's terrible when your belief system tells you that the way you are is evil. So, thank you!
@@hippocraticloaf I apologize ahead of time if I am wrong, but it seems you're looking for hatred, ignorance, or rejection where there isn't any. The video is about transphobes. My comment was in response to a specific moment where a transphobe was using the bible to deny a trans individual's identity. So I shared my old church's stance on trans individuals. I didn't think I would need to include non-binary individuals in this case since the content was about transphobes, trans individuals, and my old church's stance on such. The church's stance on non-binary individuals is very similar to trans individuals. Relating to trusting the soul over the body. So, if someone's soul doesn't conform to society's idea of a gender binary, then we go with what the soul says instead of what the body was born as. The church took Mark 12:30 - 31 and ran with it. Their message as a whole is one of unconditional love and acceptance. They would accept, help, and love you no matter what. Your skin color, your gender identity, your sexuality, and your religion, or lack there of, didn't matter. If you needed love, kindness, acceptance, and help....they would be there to you. No judgement. No trying to convert you to Christianity. They just wanted people to feel loved. Several members of that church even offered their houses for LBGTQ+ individuals who were rejected by their families after coming out. The line I specifically shared in my original comment was their response to another church calling them out for allowing trans individuals to come to the church. It was both a message of acceptance as well as calling out the other church for its hatred.
that pastor has been brainwashed and isn't in touch with reality. the love thy neighbour is the only part which is true and righteous. and tough love telling people how it is, and not pandering to their delusions is love, tough love.
9:17 "...and to the corporations for which we stan..." Meanwhile, these same people advocate for removing all regulations that inhibits corporations' ability to abuse their employees, customers, and the environment. 🙄
My teatchers had to cram the last two units in to make sure we got all of our material learned before the semesters ended. Even if they TRIED or WANTED to brainwash and teach people to be queer they wouldn't have the time to do so. Also WHY would they even do this to begin with?? 😭😭
9:26 I extra love how they're essentially admitting that forcing students to say the pledge of allegiance is a form of brain washing. Most of these people are the same ones that want American children to be forced to do so again. I had to do this throughout my elementary school years and hated it once I was old enough to understand that aspect (younger than 10, but I can't exactly remember when but I had heard Pres. Clinton telling the Irish to ignore the terrorists like they're just school bullies and that was the end of my "love" for America).
About teaching kids about lgbtq+: I WISH someone had taught me. I did know about being gay and lesbian, but I only learned more about the rest in my early thirties (I'm 35 now) and in the span of a few months I realised that I'm ace, aro and agender. Bigots might argue that I got influenced to think that I am, but the truth is that with that realisation came an understanding about why some interactions throughout my life were so strange and about my weird disconnect with my gender and confusion about why anyone would adhere to gender norms/would bully someone that doesn't. (I was bullied for being a tomboy when I was around 10-13) No one taught me to be aroace & agender, I just learned that there are terms to describe what I'm feeling. And that I'm not a broken person, but another nuance to the human experience. Teach your kids that there isn't just one way to be human. Teach your kids that it's okay to be a bit different. Teach your kids that it's okay to take some time to figure out who they are and that any label they give themselves isn't permanent and can be changed when they find out more about themselves.
Omg, literally - thank you for your existence and for sharing your story. I love hearing such acceptance and understanding from an adult. I always feel inspired because of people like you. Such big level of empathy!! Wow!!
If transphobes would fucking THINK for two seconds, they'd realize that if their kids were TAUGHT about how wide and varied human sexuality is, they might figure out that they AREN'T trans, they're just gay, or ace, or aro (all of which kids have mistaken for being trans). Yeah, they might be troubled by having kids who are all of those icky things, but they'd probably prefer it over having kids who were trans.
I agree with this completely, but it also makes me sad to think what a horrible introduction I had to the concept of autism/neurodivergence, which to my parent was probably a teaching moment. Claiming I just had asperger's when I'd been struggling with severe mental illness for years. This is why schools need to do it. If a teacher at school had taught me what neurodivergence was, I could have understood myself better, maybe would know by now how much of my experience was/is neurodivergence vs other things. If they had taught me what the symptoms of bipolar disorder or psychosis were, I could have understood sooner how deep in I was, that I couldn't fix it myself, and that there was help available. I also remember being surprised and confused to learn about things like bisexuality, because everyone knows what being gay is, but a spectrum of sexuality and gender identity is another thing altogether. And the only reason it was confusing and a bit frightening was because I hadn't known about it. And it took me until age 35 or so to learn that demisexuality isn't the norm.
honestly the tripple A battery gets brushed under the rug way too much. I wish I knew that it was a probability to not have crushes. But oh well, so much for education. In The Orville the episode called ‘About a girl’ features a one-and-done futuristic trans surgery on a newborn. Many episodes later when she was old enough to question she fought to be the gender she was, not the one assigned to her.
Since the other two women couldn't agree what color the outfit was, it's possible that Karen was the one who was right and it was in fact red, which completely negates the already stupid point the comic was supposed to make.
There is actual proof that the gender studies in Germany existed because, a Danish artist named Einar Wegenar who was born on Dec, 28th 1882. They changed their gender through a series of surgeries and Died during the last one in Dresden, Germany in 1931. It is a well known Artist who actually lived. Kids will pretty much pretend to be another gender for fun. My 9 year old daughter used to call herself "Boy Chef" when she played with her kitchen set at like 4 years old. I never corrected her and neither did my husband. We just let her be a boy for a while. We do try to keep an open household like that and teaching about diversity.
I am not sure if you are being trasnphobic or not. If you are saying that trans people may realize when they are young and you are open to this for your child, then ok. If you are saying that trans people are just pretending or faking their gender, then you are a transphobe. Trans women are women and trans men are men. Children that realize their trans identity at a young age should be able to identify and socially transition, etc.

The lizard teacher comic is particularly depressing, because the artist's actually really good, and his material was enjoyable once upon a time - but he's done a speed run on the swerf to terf to antivax to antisemitism to outright reality denial run.
to all transphobes including langauge in their arguments; you're literally trying to use the thing that changes constantly (langauge) to..disprove something that changes (trans people becoming themselves)? language is fluid, gender might be fluid, how does one disprove the other? simple! it doesn't.
It's such a shame, their artstyle is so cute and pretty. Heck, it legit looks like a style a lot of progressive people would also use. Really wish they weren't a jerk and made nice comics so I could actually enjoy them
It was a fun comic to read, when it started. A little edgy, dark humor to enjoy the day. If you can look past that, you might enjoy it until somewhere around 2011, when a little girl on a tricycle is introduced; Xanthe Justice. I read it until maybe 2016 or '17. And it wasn't because I wasn't enjoying the comic, I just stopped reading all webcomics around that time. But it was near that time, or a little after, that the artist (according to what I just read) started getting... TERFy. But he basically has been stabbing his fans in the hearts and backs, left and right, since around the introduction of the aforementioned Xanthe.
Yeah I've seen some comments about how the comic was fine until after the reptilian bit, but that's actually already a huge red flag when you know it can be a dog whistle
The one where it says "when you realize demons use they/them pronouns in the bible" it's kinda like saying "oh you have brunette hair. Yeah, so does Olivia, so you're also Olivia."

the fact that they use super mario, when theres two canon trans women charakters. theyll always take a company that is queer positive and use them for their idioligies
Fun fact: most people use they/them in a singular context in daily life. People tend to refer to someone they don’t know the gender of as “they/them” then adjust once they’re told what that persons gender is.
3:11 oh wow!! I recognice this "case"! There is one Episode of Law&Order SVU called "Identity" where they show this case with unidentical twins and where, in the end, they find out, that they at first were identical twins but this accident with the circumsition happens and they raised one of the boys like a girl. Etc.
That whole "lizard person brainwashing people to be trans and use pronouns" comic... however you want to name it, is pretty much so overloaded with god knows whatever amount of symbols and whatnot just to attack people who are doing normal things... I'd argue it's pretty much inches away from being parody. (Not that the comic maker's already a parody of a transphobe, with what they've been making lately.) And you know what, I'd love to see a parody of the comics that is just... completely normal things. Just the main characters of the original comics having their original dialogue, to seal the fact these people *do* sound insane, outside of their headspace.
9:36 I think I recognise the artist. I remember a transphobic artist whose art appeared in videos by onetopic (maybe also the click, I can't remember) because they tried so hard to be transphobic that they ended up making us look cool instead. The artstyle looks very similiar.
4:24 I’m glad you mentioned this study; also it just shows that kids know what gender they are. So when a transkids say they think their trans believe them.
I had a conversation with a friend about the colour debate last week. Its not that they deliberately arent seeing the shades, apparently women have more receptors in the eyes to discern the different shades, so we actually DO see more but the main reason is they are taught to generalise and put like minded things in the same catagory, all the shades of red become, light red, red and dark red respectfully, whereas women are taught to remember all the damn details because they are taught to micromanage everything in life. So its a combination of sight difference and life training.

Fun story about sports:
For most of the history of the Olympics, skeet shooting was a mixed sport, where men and women could both compete.
So yeah...
I do love it when a woman is outshining the men so hard, they have to completely change the rules. Some men are really the definition of insecure.
If transitioning was as easy as transphobes thought, we would live in such a wonderful world
I definitely think it should be more accessible, but idk that it should switch all the way into "easy," at least not for medical transition because all medicine carries risks. Social transition though? Who is that going to get hurt if people start wearing different clothes and using different pronouns? That should absolutely be easy and safe for people to do
And more people need to go to therapy and the doctor in general, not just when something bad happens or they go through a life change or whatever
"... No....... SHUT UP"
The thing that gets me most is, like...

Using the tragic John Money study as a reason FOR transphobia is crazy.
If anything, it’s a great way to prove transgender people are totally valid!

A, slightly serious, possibly controversial, mostly humorous take:
_"There are only two genders!"_
I agree. There's "mine", and there's "that of the others".
also, technically, the idea of there only being 2 genders still allows agender, bigender and genderfluid (between the binary genders) to exist since none of those technically involve any "new" genders ;)

This just shows they do NOT understand Super Mario.
Mario is more human than bigots

I'm a Christian and the Church I went to in my home town said this about trans individuals:
"Sometimes, a woman's soul might wind up in a man's body or a man's soul might wind up in a woman's body.
This leaves like no room for people who don't experience binary gender, I think there's room for improvement in your churches version of acceptance.

My teatchers had to cram the last two units in to make sure we got all of our material learned before the semesters ended.
Even if they TRIED or WANTED to brainwash and teach people to be queer they wouldn't have the time to do so.
Also WHY would they even do this to begin with?? 😭😭
(9:20) They make a parody of how dystopian it would be to pledge to the flag, but that's just normalised in US schools and it's insane.

It's clearly fire hydrant or big apple.
(I was bullied for being a tomboy when I was around 10-13)
No one taught me to be aroace & agender, I just learned that there are terms to describe what I'm feeling.
This!!!! I have had a similar experience, including with my neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism)!
