This feels like that last desperate attempt against in a fight you know isn't winnable, but you know you have to drag it out for as long as possible, praying for a miracle.
atleast for the first minute or so it feels like it would play in a scene where your enemy gets back up, just with enough strength for one final attack, or in a game before the final phase of a boss battle initiates as dialogue plays. then the screen fades to black, a more intense song plays for a buildup then the fight starts once more.

The final villain reveals his evil plan, keeping you locked inside the void and watching as your town crumbles to the villains attacks, your friends put up a fight as much as they can, but in the end it's fruitless, if only you didn't miss one final piece, you could've halted all of this, you stay there, sobbing as your town perishes, and your friends are captured.
