When you come up to a red traffic light, you have to come to a complete stop and then you can turn red as long as you check for pedestrians and other cars. The only time you are not allowed to turn right on red is if there is a sign that says "No Turn on Red" OR if there is a sign with an arrow crossed off. Hope this helps!

Few years ago I took a trip to Dallas and hired a chevvy SS for two weeks with my friend. We drove from Dallas down to the Big Bend national park which I highliy recommend you go to see if you plan on a longer trip. Got a ghost town called Terlingua, one of the most amazing BBQs there DB's Rustic Iron BBQ. Lots of stuff to see and do on the drive down.
There is a train from Washington DC to Boston that hits Philadelphia, Baltimore, and NYC (as well as other cities). Could be a fun way to explore the northeast US.

If you wanna do an American road trip, I would strongly suggest the west coast (highway 101). The scenery is incredible the entire way down and also keeps changing with different geography. Plus you could check out some cool cities with Vancouver (ik it’s in Canada but still), Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, LA, San Diego

As a Texan who grew up in between San Antonio and New Braunfels i can honestly say that Austin in my opinion is the best city to live in here and miss living there very much as i was fortunate enough to live there for 3 years and made the most amazing friends as well as it was the best time of my life living there.

Wasn’t even born there either. Grew up in Southern California, moved to Texas after college, now in DC. Texas just feels like home.
