This girl helped me so much and I never realized it until I've become a lot more recovered in my addictions and mental issues. I was homeless and on drugs and was still holding on to my childhood, and Melanie's lyrics describe that feeling perfectly.
Everyone complaining that they didn't give her a single nomination when that really isn't the case. We should be grateful that she can even perform songs she made and that awards are just awards. She doesn't need an award to make music, her art will forever be underrated and unique.
