- (Stay Cool words below)
You got to stay cool now, just go to go with the flow, and
everything will be alright,
Don't save it for the next time, give it all now, and you'll feel just fine,
its written in the stars,
I've got to get away from here, I feel it in the atmosphere,
It's never been so clear, but now,
i'm going to find the other side, i'm cracking and I don't know why,
another place or time but here,
Don't jump to conclusions, you'll probably find its just an illusion,
a figment of your mind,
because I need another lifetime, to put things right, I got wrong this time,
stick it on pause rewind,
I've got to get away from here, I feel it in the atmosphere,
It's never been so clear, but now,
i'm going to find the other side, i'm cracking and I don't know why,
another place or time but here,
So come away with me, so come away with me.
I've got to get away from here, I feel it in the atmosphere,
It's never been so clear, but now,
i'm going to find the other side, i'm cracking and I don't know why,
another place or time but here,
You got to stay cool now, just go to go with the flow,
And everything will be alright,

I was 17 in Liverpool in 65 best time and place to be a teenager
...and I was 16yrs old ...just left school, growing up in Kirkby...great days, great memories......(some sad)...
In 1979 we lived in Halewood I was 18 and I wish there was a film of that area… anyway, Liverpool was filthy at that time, no money spent on cleaning the city..! Look at it now.. so much better for everyone and healthy.. breath easy ..!!!
Love these photos brings back lovely memories that our children being born after this date will ever have! Only fear!
In My Liverpool Home!
Beautiful people. Lovely children.
I made one trip to Liverpool each year from "80 to '83. I saw NOTHING of the depressing scenes you show here. And I travelled around quite a bit.
That's good to hear.. it is even better these days, Liverpool is a wonderful place to live or to visit, but back in the 60s /70s when some of the video was shot it was quite run down in some areas old bombed out buildings from ww2 and rundown dockland, all now re built and re purpest,
Really nice guitar sound on this, well done!
karl must have loved playing this ..RIP
will never sound the same without Karl ..RIP
i was born in 65 aswell!!
I just LOVE Liverpool.....And anything related to it.....Especially after having spent eleven years in this noble city.....
Thanks Jane lets hope you come back and visit sometime .
@@mallynero I still live in Liverpool on a part-time basis, because I'm studying a course at Liverpool John Moores', so I'm going to be here for a bit longer.
@@bikinibabes666 Thats great news, I wish you every success with your course and thanks for the feedback 🙂
Ferry across the Mersey!
Judging by the haircuts and cars I would say this is more like the early 1970s not 1965 (the first clip that is).
Not at all 1965 ! First part about 1972...

This is a load of bollox I don't know what part of Liverpool that was because it was nothing like that I was. born in 1942 and grew up in Liverpool the place was booming everyone was employed we had the Best music scene in the world best football teams that was period Thatcher started the jealousy of Liverpool by everyone in England and tried to destroy the city because we weren't like the rest of the cowards in England we stood up to her and successive governments the only way she could destroy the city was to move all the industries down south it's still going on today with these Tory clowns denying Liverpool the taxpayers money to keep us down the rsoles ....
Thank you for your feedback Stay cool Lar
