I used truboo in making a tank top. I love love love the bgg yarn, its beautiful, soft and luxurious. The only issue I had was splitting, you must slow down when you crochet with it.
I saw this yarn on LB website a few weeks ago, and couldn't help but order 12 different colors and they are beautiful! This yarn is so soft and has worked up well while I experiment with different stitches! Now I need to decide what I want to make first, lol.
Going to try and crochet socks with it. But it may be too soft of a yarn. We shall see. I am frustrated with the splitting but I find if I stitch slower, it’s better. 🌸
I am currently working on a shawl. The splitting is maddening. About 8hours in, and I would be almost done with a 3 weight acrylic yarn, and I am only 18 or 19 rows in. It is beautiful, but time consuming. I have purchased enough for another project, but will ask Joanne's, if I can exchange it for something else. I am a newbie to bamboo, but I have more important projects to do, and time is important to me. Thanks for you honestly. I like premier acrylic sock weight yarn for small projects. I am allergic to wool, and their yarn works great for small items especially toys.
I am crocheting a reception dress for my wedding.. do you think this yarn would be to heavy as an evening dress? I am trying to find a shiny 3 weight that is comfortable and soft and does not pill up. Do you have a suggestion? And hoping to find a yarn in a dusty rose color
It’s lovely and I was just in Joanne’s few days ago. Never seen it. I’ll buy it but only when it’s on sale. I can’t wait to try it when I get it only on sale, plus coupons.
I had bought some bamboo yarn about 5 years ago and it wasn't sturdy at all. If you had tight tension it would literally come apart, not like splitting but you would end up with two sections like you had cut it. Is this strong enough to last?
Hi Nicki! I just recently subscribed to your channel and I think you are an amazing (host)! I just got this yarn a few days ago so I could have something to do while I sat at home. Anyway, I'm actually making a baby blanket with it (filet crochet) and I have to tell you it's amazing yarn! It's sooo luxurious! I will say tho that it does tend to split a little (I'm right handed as well) but it's sooo worth the tiny bit of aggravation! lol So with that, I would also like to say, have a great weekend and please be safe and healthy 😊
Did you like this review? Do you like this amazing yarn as much as I do? 😘
Yep❤

How does it look after washing? I want to make a breathable blanket for my 3 yo and so i need something soft, breathable and holds up to washing

It might be ok. I’m making a shawl right now and feels fine. But a dress is bigger, so it might be a bit heavy, but not much tho

For now that seems to be and Lion Brand is known for high quality yarn. But that might be a good question for them. Sorry I don’t know ❤️

Not right now sorry
Too much “ amazing “ going on. 🤦♀️
I "totally" agree. It's annoying.
