So, is D&G primarily a lingerie brand on the woman’s side of it? And they just occasionally make RTW? Because most of their shows look like they are heavily lingerie based with regular clothing sprinkled in. Or Is it just me? Cuz I’m thinking, this is a colder weather collection right? Where is all the clothes and winter outfits?

The GOLD and sparkly pieces are everything!!! Other than that, super SAFE is how I would describe this collection. It’s like they picked the interesting and iconic black pieces from their 20-plus years of archived collections and made it into this show. It seems that the passion for bold and creative ideas was put on pause for this collection. Nothing bad about the clothes here. I like them all and they all look luxurious. It’s just that after the high that was the Ciao Kim collection, it seems they are taking a break from creative exploration and are just picking items we’ve already seen from their past collections. No wonder they utilized top models for this show….to elevate the clothes and the show. This is a departure from what they’ve been doing in recent years…which is casting lesser popular models cuz the clothes spoke for themselves.

Beautiful models, flawless presentation and loved the music. But i was disappointed that the black dress designs were so similar and also so many with knickers showing, bralettes, leather cross bras, and transparent pieces in this collection.
The gold collection was more interesting and all the coats. But overall it was more like a show-girl collection best for the Folie Bergere.

Fantastic! THIS is the Dolce that I know and love. Giving early-mid aughts lux, especially in reprise of the metal corset and bejeweled gowns. Sexy, glamorous and sophisticated in its restraint. Tastefully done.
