This year i've been in Maramures twice with my Defender, each time solo, surprisingly had no issues with car. Be aware of bears while camping in forests, both times they visited us at nights.
Good one B. Funny comment about telling them to get some land rovers🤣 Thanks for sharing. My disco 2 has now installed the disco 1 diff lock levers. Now I don't know if the traction control works properly, because I almost never see it work when I lock de center diff. Really awesome upgrade. Cheers mate.
Great sounds and great tracks !! So sad it's over !! LOL ... La prochaine, avec une voiture francaise? LOL, Ça, je veux regarder!! LOL LOL ... Duster?LOL LOL ... J'atende pour l'aventure !! Cheers
Like someone else already said, be aware of bears at night. They're pretty much everywhere, and aren't afraid of humans any longer. Very nice videos and driving.
Awesome, muddy Day, tires Bf km2 not bad but, I recommand you silverstone mt117 extrem , maxxis cst cl18 land dragon , if you coming next period until Christmas m' afraid will be snow anyway, enjoy it and take care. 👍
Hi Lucas, thank you for your comment, I appreciate !✌ We could run more agressive tires, but we do a lot of road so it's not a good choice for our 4x4s. (Paris-->Sibiu = 2000 Kms) I will probably come back next year 😉
Hi great video In your opinion which do you think is best off road landrover or Toyota I know there are people out there that are biased one way or another.but you have a lot of experience in both . And your videos are very honest Ps merry Christmas
Hi mate, thank you. Well in my opinion, Land Rovers are usually better than Toyotas at offroading. Speaking of realiability, Toyota wins hands down, but Land Rover parts are MUCH cheaper. Toyotas are also more expensive at buying, (Europe) but it probably depends of your living country. Toyotas are also heavier, but they do have more room inside, which is good for expeditions. As a conclusion, I would say that everything depends of your heart, your budget & your mechanic skills ! ✌ Merry christmas to you too !
My friends say that I'm going to have lots of problems with Discovery and that I will often repair it or go to service center , maybe they mean the 3rd and 4th generation. And those who owns y61 telling me that the discovery 2 is not dynamic.
Kristoffer Colombus i would go with a toyo due to its comfort level landys are nice but stiffer ride and yeah they dont have rear elockers mine have and believe me its nothing for an tlc80
AS per your comment about the 'Getting Landy's', some people cant even be shown let alone told;) lol. The ol Tojo isnt a bad truck. Just make sure you or they have their 'Toyota' recovery kit on hand for you to be able to assist as required lol. Cheers for sharing Brett from Australia. D1 Driver. ;)
I cringe watching that recovery at the end. If it is not kinetic rope, one cannot use momentum to pull a stuck car out. Far too dangerous for both cars and the people around.

We didn't saw any of them, but we saw small broken houses by bears, during the night!

Haha, thanks mate ! Yes, that upgrade is awesome on the D2, and TC+CDL work perfectly together ! 👌
See you!
4 min 10 sec. Land Rover now repair in service )))

Hehe oui ! It's not even a 4x4, but I will drive it offroad anyway !
Good video, keep them coming!

C'est bien beau ! Le son du gros 6 cylindres c'est quelque chose ^^
Et du gras comme j'aime en plus 😄
Oh oui, ils ronronnent bien !!👌
Champions! Ça glisse, ça patine mais ça passe!! En 4x4, suis ta route, même s'il n'y a plus de route!!!
Nice vid. What’s the setup for the 80 n 100?

Moi même, je frétillais tellement ça me manquait !
Superbe vidéo !
Vous utilisez quoi comme GPS ?
Ca coute combien un 4x4 comme ça ?
Hi great video

ONly for the comment on 04:12 about Land Rovers you deserve a Like! But I also like some Toyos, like the Troopie! ;-)
Hehehe, thank you Victor !
Fantastic' Discos next time 😊
Nice trip guys!
Thank you !
Do in same road with land rover discovery td5
Would have loved to ...
4min 10 sec. what about lockers? :)
what size tyres are the 80s using?
The 105 is running 255/85/16
The 80, I don't know, maybe 285 ....
Where's your car ? Traded on the LC ?))
Noo, It was having some rest, at home 😉
and then I thought you were disappointed in Discovery. I was thinking to buy Patrol y61 , not Discovery. What do you think ?
Not yet haha ! I've never been driving an Y61, so I honestly can't tell you
It's all about you 😉
My friends say that I'm going to have lots of problems with Discovery and that I will often repair it or go to service center , maybe they mean the 3rd and 4th generation. And those who owns y61 telling me that the discovery 2 is not dynamic.
I also think that you will have to take more care of your discovery than your Patrol. But a remapped Td5 works well too ;)
These guys aren't dressed for the mud. Good video.
Thank's, mate
Great video but please stop using the tow ball for recoveries. Too dangerous.
Thanks !
it looks colder than Australia.
Yah it was cold ! Still never been there ! That's on my to do list tho.
Dans quel pays est ce voyage?
C'est en Roumanie, un bien joli pays !
j'aime vraiment ta chaine
Haha, yes they need some Land Rovers 😁😁
& at the end, they were tired of me 🤣
Kristoffer Colombus i would go with a toyo due to its comfort level landys are nice but stiffer ride and yeah they dont have rear elockers mine have and believe me its nothing for an tlc80
Very nice
Thanks again, Rob.
Un bon bain de boue en 4x4, y'a rien de mieux pour s'amuser ! :)
Bien d'accord avec toi !!

Hhahah funny one !
Thnks mate! Have a good day/ 😉
Beautiful video Sir like and Subscribe 😊
Danny Rc Thank you & welcome here !😀

This is a Black Snake recovery rope : very high quality made from kevlar ;)
I was more worried about the ball hitch breaking off and killing somebody
