    Really surprised this is the only vid for this. I replace my shifter bushing and it didn't help at all, then I notice that its loose up towards the trans. I was thinking about doing something like this but wasn't exactly sure. This is awesome!

    Hey man, it's me again. I followed your advice to change my clutch fluid with a fresh one, but still I get a weak push of the pedal. I used the car on way to work early in the morning and driving was fine. When I was on my way home, I had trouble moving to second to third and vice-versa. Then I cannot move to third gear, so I flash my alarm cuz I was driving second gear at 15-20 mile/hour (it was a raining a bit, sigh!). When I reached home I have to turn off the engine so I can put it on reverse. I was to make a reverse few feet then the engine turned off while in reverse mode. I was three feet before getting inside the garage. Then horrible thing happened. When I try to start the engine while the gear is still in reverse mode, the engine would turn off. The following day I was thinking of elevating the front wheels so I can check if I will be able to release the gear from reverse mode. It worked. Now what I did next is to bleed the fluid but failed to make the pedal the was it used to be. When I turn on the engine, I cannot move the engine to any shift (mine is 5 speed). But I can shift the gear when the engine is off, I already consumed a big bottle of Dot 3 fluid. But failed to make the gear shift when engine is running. This is my third time changing Dot 3 fluid. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

      On the way home, did you lose some of the brake fluid on the master reservoir? It seems like the clutch master or the slave cylinder cannot hold the pressure when you depressed the clutch pedal. Resulting it to shift harder and sometimes the engine die when it lose the pressure. Have you tried checking the master cylinder if it is leaking? If not, just go underneath the steering column and check the clutch master where the rod connects to the pedal. There you will see if it has leaks or not. Second to check is the slave cylinder which is located on the front of the transmission, behind the radiator.

    Great video but are you sur about the 3/16 hose ? The In diameter seem to be 5mmfor the bolt and after i realise my bolt was 8mmx70mm i look at the chart and 5/16 as to be the close to 8mm can you clarify that with me please ?

    • @DraftProject
      @DraftProject  4 роки тому +1

      Hi biggy, when I bought the hose, it says on the receipt as 3/16 hose. I also brought a sample bolt which is the 8mmx70mm and it fits nicely. I measured the inside diameter and it is 5mm. It is possible that there might some variations when it comes to the size of the hose. I would suggest you to buy with a sample bolt to test the fitment, so that you can be sure that you won't buy the wrong hose.

      @@charlessuba4945 Bale sir yung dust seal ng shifter po ata yung nakikita niyo po. Kung ganun po, palit narin po kayo ng ball seat (yung plastic bushing na naghohold sa shifter linkage) para hindi mapuwersa pababa yung dust seal. Sa Honda po mismosir mabibili yan. Hindi lang po ako sigurado sa mga auto supply. Sumubok din ako maghanap dati pero sa Honda rin po ang bagsak ko sir.

    • @DraftProject
      @DraftProject  4 роки тому

      Hello sir! Sorry po sa late response. Hindi po sir. Dust seal po yan. Yan po ay para hindi madumihan yung bola ng shifter kung saan meron siyang sariling bushing. Plastic bushing po yung naghohold sa shifter.
      Bale sir merong dust boot sa itaas, sa gitna naman po ay ball seat (plastic bushing na naghohold sa shifter), at yung dust seal na nasa ibaba o yung nakikita niyo po na punit sa aking kotse.
