I worked 5.5 years with TCS, including about 2 years in Europe, Amsterdam (for client ABN AMRO Bank). TCS had a client in Denmark too and few of my TCS friends worked there - but I don't remember the client name. TCS is good for those who want onshore opportunities. TCS is not a great paymaster for offshore employees.

My Grandfather worked for the Taj Hotels and was based in Mumbai. He rose to become one of the directors. The then chairman of TATA group, Sir JRD Tata told him he could work for as long as he wanted to. Even after his retirement, he was the chief Engineering consultant and would go to work everyday. He followed this routine till he was 84, before he contracted a fatal disease and died within 10 days of it. He only stopped working once he fell ill and died of it. He was extremely dedicated towards the company and didn't stop working till he died.
