There are much less expensive tickets. Under $50. I never pay full price unless there's no other way. Most shows have discounted tickets available. And if they don't, there's always the balcony.
@@ROBYNMARKOW I wen't on Wednesday the 25th the day after she came back to Broadway after having covid we were 3rd row center isle seats and I think they were only 250 a piece. That was for great seats you can get a little further back for cheaper it's not like going to a concert its Broadway not a Lady Gaga concert.
@@GiannasEscapades I saw Lea Michele in "Spring Awakening"here in L. A . The tickets were only $20 but this going back a decade ago. I don't plan on being in the NYC area anytime soon but hopefully it'll go on tour & I can see it then bcuz whenever I go to NY I never have enough $$ to see even an off-off bdway show.😕 I saw a lot of theater when I stayed w/my late uncle bcuz he was a film/theater critic & got comps.👍

When you get older, you realize you did some shit in your life you're not proud of, but it's part of growing up. And some of it is really hard to grow out of, but all you can do is keep trying to become a better person, and know that the people that really care about you won't give up on you, even when you disappoint them. Life is complicated and you're finite, and chances are you'll get old before you figure out the things you wish you knew when you were young and could have done something about it, and before you're mature enough to act like you should. If you're lucky, that is. And even then, you'll still be making mistakes, and you'll still have to keep on living and hopefully learning. So try not to be too judgmental, because that just doesn't help, and it really only makes *you* look bad.
I hope so; Lea M is a v talented performer . Hopefully being a new mom will help.👍
I’ve said it before but I genuinely think there was just a lot of crap happening on Ryan’s sets and the Glee cast was full of drama. Doesn’t excuse Lea’s bullying or the comments she made, but I don’t think anyone came out of that set looking good.

Her castmates in Glee can all pile on her but this is the truth. Those who were successful after Glee are still close to her and those who are not hated her and still slander her. At the end of the day she won. She won the role that she wanted so badly since she was a child. She won in life for having a good family. She won in her career.

I think she is kinda cancelled... It came to my attention that this video doesn't pop up a lot and i watch a lot of talk show content, maybe thats the reason why they uploaded such a shorth interview.

She looks beautiful. 😍 Yes Lea did bad things in the past but I'm all about second chances. Glee was years ago and she was going through a bad time back then, not an excuse for her behaviour of course, but that is a fact. And since then she's got married and had a kid. Also the tough time she went through when the revelations came out surely would've hit home to her. And her broadway co-stars have had nothing but nice words to say about her. So unless more bad things about her come out, I'm willing to be her fan again. This is just how I personally feel. 💕

@Bruce Snyder How can she earn a second chance when people don't give her the chance to? You have to forgive someone to give them that chance. What she did back then was awful yes, but I personally believe that her apology was sincere. Also Amber Riley said herself that Lea reached out to her personally to apologize and that Lea also reached out to Samantha Ware but she refused to talk her. Lea has tried to make amends and has suffered greatly because of her actions. I think that it's time to move on now. What happened was 7+ years ago. She seems to be a different person now and everyone who's worked with her recently has said this. I don't know what more she needs to do to prove that she's worthy of a second chance tbh. I swear some people want her begging on her knees for forgiveness or something. 🤦

Gratifying to see her starring here but hardly a surprise. Even all the MT people I know - notoriously critical of people singing showtunes in TV and film - always saw that she was a rare talent.

Happy to see that she is back, with a family and fans who support her, and of course shining in Broadway. I always felt like the cast of glee who threw shade at her were jealous of her success and tried to dirty her name, but they couldn't, her talent is superior, and no one knows about them anymore, lol.
She was doomed to be an outsider. Aside from being paid over twice the others, and she was used to the team work ethic of Broadway ( how they talk about Spring Awakening ). among all these LA cattle call kids.

There are stories from Ragtime (her understudy) about her being a horror to work with, all the way through some cast members on S.A., and obviously, Glee, and also on her show The Mayor. She apologized on Instagram, but nothing has been said after that. No interviews, nothing else addressing years and years, decades of horrible behavior. I definitely believe in second chances, but where's the accountability? It's strange that someone can act so horribly, then apologizes one time on Instagram, and everything is basically forgotten because she's talented. I'd love an honest and open discussion about what she learned about everything she went through, and how she's changed.
@@mikayocc that's what gets me. We currently live in a world where horrible people are elevated and praised and we pretend as if the victims of their nasty behavior don't matter. Can people change? No. She has aged and has leaned to better hide who she truly is until she slips. It will happen eventually. Super happy that she’s playing the role, and I wish I had it in my budget to fly out to New York to see it. She’s stunningly talented. At the same time, I found her a bit annoying in this interview. Trying so hard to be likable. At least she’s trying, indicates some level of self awareness and growth. But I just wanted to say, ok, stop! I do appreciate the ways she’s responding gracefully to all the praise, just receiving it with gratitude, not trying to modestly say, “oh, well, no.” She receives it and says thank you, which I think is the best, most appropriate response.
I think she’s always gotten a bit nervous in these big interviews. Can’t really blame her.
