Dear friends, in this exercise from the British Council : My holiday's next week. I _____ myself on the beach right now! My answer was: "I imagine" but the system got "I am imagining" which I think it is strange...Sometimes the system has only one option, but in a real situation, are both correct? Thanks for your help! :)

Why didn't you say, he hates raining instead he hates the rain. What's difference?
"The rain" is a noun. He hates the weather. He hates the rain.
"To rain" is a verb. It rains (Present Simple). It is raining now (Present Continuous).
