- Hiya, welcome back to the part 2 of the 3 New York vlogs! It was so moving and powerful finally seeing the One World Trade Centre/Observatory, the Museum and both Memorials. We felt the rain added to the somber feel of the day, and were pleased to pay our tributes (despite finding it extremely emotional!). I shopped, got my hair done, ate an incredibly meal at Tavern On The Green (that Lobster Risotto was amazing!), visiting Dylan's Candy Bar for Birthday Cake Ice Cream, ride around Central Park on a Horse & Carraige, get my Gossip Girl shot outside the Met and lots more! I know I commented this on your last vlog but honestly I'm in love with these vlogs. I'm away from New York until February because I'm on exchange and this is making me really appreciate the city I wanted to get out of. I don't know if it sounds odd but I was so sick and tired of living in New York but now I really miss it. I can't wait to be back xx thank you
also I totally cried at all the pictures of 9/11 because I was just a baby when it happened but any time I go to the Freedom Tower or the memorial I just realize how tragic it was but also how resilient New Yorkers were. GOD DAMN THIS VLOG IS MAKING ME PENSIVE

Loving these vlogs so much. New York is my favourite place ever. I've even got parts of my wedding based around it and every room in my house has something New York in it 😊 can't wait to go back in the summer for my honeymoon and going to Orlando too. The 9/11 memorial is so powerful and such a somber place to be. Loved Central Park too when we went last Feb the snow was soo heavy we couldn't see in front of us so glad I got to see more in your vlog 😊😍🗽 xx

Another great instalment of the New York vlogs. The 9/11 memorial looks moving and I can still remember hearing about the attacks when I was 14 and on my way home from school but heard about them in more depth when I got home. I also have the odd moment where my eyes tear up but I don't cry and I found this when watching the clip after the bath bomb bit in Weekly Vlog #83 for example. I can also remember your floral dress from the Bloggers Blog awards. The horse and carriage ride is lovely, the candy shop is stunning and your hair towards the end is gorgeous.

Looks so pretty there in winter when I went in summer I never got around to going to see dylan's candy bar but I went to the sprinkles cupcakes atm which was so cute!

The World Trade Centre memorial and museum must of been a very emotional experience, it must of felt sad but pleasing to know that you have payed tributes to the life's that were lost. I'm still so jealous of your trip, it all looks beautiful, especially the gossip girl sites. Have a good weekend xx

Rewatching these vlogs as i just got back from nyc n missing it
I'm so excited to go to New York next year for my 21st - we went in 2015, was suppose to be for 2 nights then onto Orlando but our flight to NY got cancelled so only got 1 day there :( Managed to go to the 9/11 memorial fountains and do the open top bus tour, but would love to do the 9/11 museum. These vlogs make me so excited to go back! Thanks for these Brogan

I had to comment and I'm only in five minutes in... trying to put on my makeup and crying over the footage from the World Trade Center visit... I saw it last November and it was powerful then, being there I felt emotionally connected to people I'd never met. Such an amazing once in a lifetime experience. All those feelings came back watching your footage. It's such a wonderful yet sad and emotional thing to see. So glad I saw t though as I'm sure you are xxx

I went to NYC summer 2015 but it was blue skies and sunny so the queue for the new freedom tower was extremely long. My grandmother's sister had an apartment in NY that faced the towers, and I saw them nearly every week. The memorial is beautiful, and learn something new everyday, I always thought the white roses were left by family!
I can imagine it being very busy on a clear day! Oh wow! Apparently the white roses are by the people who work there! xx

I can only imagine how it felt being at the September 11th memorial, I love the idea of putting a white rose out for that persons birthday, what an amazing thing to do to remember those who were lost on that dreadful day. You have taught me something today, I didn't know they did that.

The 9/11 memorial is super emotional!! I have seen the fountains twice but I did the museum for the first time last year and that really is emotional

I visited NYC in Aug 2010, and visited the 9/11 site, at which point was under construction. My brother and I did an open top bus tour, from Times Sq to the 9/11 site, and what I noticed straight away was how peaceful / quiet the area was. It was a surreal moment, as you could hear the sound gradually get quieter and quieter until we got to where the two towers were. I too felt incredibly emotional as well; those poor people who lost their lives on that day. Absolute heartbreaking still to this very day.

I went to New York in July and I’m going again in November, I fell in love with the city and can’t wait to experience winter ❄️ in New York the museum was done amazing it was very sad and emotional day, the memorial was beautifully done and the 2 things I didn’t do that I’m definitely doing next time is the one World Trade Center and Brooklyn bridge 🌉 can’t wait 😁xx

Hey Brogan, great vlog! Loved the museum, so impressing. Just wanted to reach out and tell you that the carriages in NYC (or anywhere, for that matter) look like fun, but they are not fun for the horses. Accidents are frequent and many horses have been put down because of that. Horses are just not made for pavements and big cities and standing around in front of the carriage. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Looking forward to other vlogs (huge Disney fan here as well!).

We went up to the top of the twin towers the Saturday before 9 /11 , when it happened I was at work and the phone never stopped ringing to check I was back from newyork ! It made me so sad ! The memorial is really tastefully done ! Love Manhattan!

Around 22:40, does your mom say "they put salt on the pavement?" haha Do they not do that in the UK when it snows or is icy? Glad you enjoyed New York. Watching foreigner's - or even those from outside the NYC area - reactions makes me so appreciate living in NJ so close to the city, and it makes me feel proud! I hope you can come back soon and enjoy so much more! You and your family are so sweet.
Oh wow powerful, I get very emotional seeing other people going to the Memorial site...I know what you mean by the pools that are where the towers stood, it's very sombre...like that everytime I go and always leave with tears streaming down my face. My sis in law lost her cousin and one of my Avon friends lost her husband, I always go and look at their names. How about the area where they have the calls coming in...that is intense.
I had to listen 3 times when you said going to drybar see you there I sounded like you said something else...blow.....haha OH dear, cracking up.

We went to New York several years ago. It was during September. Of course we had to visit ground zero and pay our respects. Back then it was just rubble. Very busy as it was close to the anniversary. Incredibly sad atmosphere. It's my dream to go to New York again around Christmas.
