hey cool Video, i take the new harness from original BMW ater lci for my prelci so all good because the lamp/Lights on the left not on only on the left sight, i think i must Code for the turnlight so because on the left is Nothing on
Hi, great video. I’m going to be doing this upgrade to my M4 but wanted to ask about the coding and what you need to do. I’m going to be doing the coding with bimmercode? Can you help at all?
@@ayy234 no, I got the OEM wiring the only thing with the wiring is that mine hand a wire for a camera which my car doesn’t have so I just taped it off and connected the rest into the car and then used BimmerCode for the coding and didn’t need anything else. Do you know how to code it on BimmerCode?
@@ayy234 no worries, you don’t need to go into expert mode, on the modules section go into the REM and at the bottom is a module for Retrofit ( LCI tail lights ) and just change that to active
Hello, thanks. If you have a Pre-LCI, yes, you need coding. If you have already LCI lights and you install BlackLine LCI you d'ont need any coding or new wiring.
@Michael Gold You can actually do it yourself using the BimmerCode app - there's a few tutorials from BMW forums that can be found on Google. Essentially you're just turning off the bulb monitoring for the rear lights due to the way an LED works (it pulses very fast, hence why videos sometimes show blinking LED running lights). It's likely cheaper (and much easier) than taking it to BMW to code it in and you have the other coding functions available from the app.
@@geno-prog9610 Quick question. If don't install the LCI harness, will they work, of course without de inner hazards? In the F36 it's quite difficult running the harness to the REM so I can live without de inner hazards. Thanks!

@@geno-prog9610 Oh Thank you ! And, which one do you prefer more on the white car. The normal LCI oder the one with Blackline ? I wonder if the Blackline LCI makes the back of the care come out more intense (because black typically lets the eye focus on something else).
Hey guys, any idea where I could get the coding information to do it my self? Also, is the harness plug and play or do you have to change some wiring on the connectors to make it fit into the module? Thanks!
Definitely getting a set of these. I always avoid the US models because they have red turn signals.

At 1:59 in the video, what connectors are you removing and are these connectors included in the new BMW wiring harness?
You don't need to replace the wiring harness 😊
Only need to replace it if you want the inner turnsignal to work right? 😊

what is part number for the new wiring harness
do you need to disconnect the battery first ? thanks
I would. As a rule of thumb, you should disconnect the battery whenever you work on anything electrical related. It's a precaution and common sense.

Ace Rimmer I drive previous LCI F32, its taillamp has orange turn signal bulb in the taillamp. The LCI version has eliminated it.

Did you use the normal 2017 or 2019 Blackline Edition ?
