Please refer to your local National Weather Service office to get the most reliable and up to date weather information as possible.
Please create a Canadian weather channel or at least add major Canadian cities to your regular weather updates. You won’t believe how many of us in Canada who try to extend the weather patterns slightly north, and guesstimate what our weather will be. Watching you and doing that is far more accurate than anything we have up here. Everybody smash the like button of this comment who agrees with me. I thank you for your consideration Ryan.

I hope i am wrong but this storm looks to have more of a punch to it in the planes and lower mid west. The modals are very jumpy with this area. Be safe

Parts of Wisconsin got hit with first ever February tornadoes Thursday night. One near Evansville and one near Albany. Quite a bit of damage to farm land and equipment.

Bertram, Texas resident here.... We got 5hrs of drizzle/rain. However, the areas 20 miles to my West got 8+hrs of RAIN rain. Nothing severe. Yall have a good rest of your weekend.

I woke up to 8" snow this morning outside Edgewood NM. Still snowing. Not windy.
Anyone living in the Northern Kentucky / Cincinnati area knows that no snow forecast is reliable until around 6 hours before it happens. It’s a weird weather bubble area.
Kind of like living in New England. Saturday was 60, Tuesday a foot of snow. We are used to it.

Raining in northern Ontario... guys are pulling ice shacks off the ice....they closed the snowmobile trails crossing water here... we've got open water under bridges where we normally don't till April... more rubber boot wearing than snowshoe wearing this year.
But no bugs and light on tourists...
Still a good year all things considered...

Just had our first tornado of the year in Arkansas yesterday. NWS rates it as an EF1. It was from the same storm system that brought 2.00” diameter hail to Hot Springs.
The snow can stay far away from Indiana. As far as i'm concerned, i'm a southern woman living in the north and I hate cold and snow

Ohio river valley, I’m 30minutes north of the Ohio river and 30 minutes east of the Indiana border. Always seems like when a storm approaches from the west it splits and goes north and south of where I’m at. Seems like at the county line it splits! 🤷🏻♂️

My family moved to Florida when I was six years old and we literally lived two lots away from my grandparents and I remember one of the first days we were here we were standing on my grandparents driveway using chalk and it was literally down pouringat my parents house😂😂 my parents and grandparents were like freaking out because we had never seen anything like this before😂 calling it bipolar is genius!!!

We don't get snow in Pittsbburgh anymore. It will snow in Texas and far south of us. Texas will get many inches, but we always miss out. It happens every storm every year.

I agree the blended model is much more realistic. That model predicting a foot of snow in Oklahoma is definitely unlikely to happen. We've been mostly in the 60s the past couple of weeks, the ground is too warm for most snow to stick and we won't go below freezing until after it's already been raining.
as a snow lover, it makes me so depressed that the dc area doesn't ever get any snow any more. Moved down here from Pa 12 years or so ago, and every year its been less and less snow here pretty consistently. So disappointing.
why? The ice, wind, wet, cold, salt, slips, food prep, snow chains, 4 layers and 20 loads of laundry, shoveling out car, damage, extra long work hours cause the job still has to get done, frost bite, refrozen sweaty feet, constant news fear mongering coverage, dirty snow and mountain piled up refrozen over mounds of it in the days, weeks after...
How HOW do you justify liking this stuff??? Unless if you've got money and are enjoying a ski resort or something I just don't understand people who are begging for it.

I’m so disappointed. All I heard before winter we were told that the south would be colder than normal. I went and bought sweaters and stocked up. It’s in the 70s here in San Antonio! I’m going to start putting away those sweaters 😢

Love the weather forecasting and thinnk you do an awesome job of teaching about meteorology as well. But I keep hearing about live snowfall/blizzard steams and yet there have been several missed major opportunities this year. Recently Buffalo had nearly week of lake effect snow and it was never covered.

Palestine, TX. Got thunderstorms training through all Saturday night into Sunday morning. Lightning, thunder, tons of water. We've been needing it, so no problems here. Tornado reported south of Huntsville, TX Sunday morning.
