- Join me on a Christmas Tour of the beautiful Burton Constable Hall in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Burton Constable Hall is a large Elizabethan country house in England, with 18th- and 19th-century interiors and a fine 18th-century cabinet of curiosities. The hall, a Grade I listed building, is set in a park designed by Capability Brown with an area of 300 acres. It is located 3 miles south-east of the village of Skirlaugh in the East Riding of Yorkshire, approximately 9 miles north-east of the city of Kingston Upon Hull, and has been the home of the Constable family for over 400 years.
Indeed, if my genealogical research is correct I am too related to the Constables being a descendent of Joan Constable - Birth 1458 • Halsham, Yorkshire, England - Death 1497 • Studley Royal, Yorkshire, England, alas my line petered out to become farmers and labourers! My family and ancestors have lived in this area for many hundreds of years.
I hope you enjoy the video, it's a wonderful place to visit, although it is very out of the way but well worth the visit. www.burtoncons...
Wishing you a Peaceful Christmas!

Happy Christmas, I do have a couple more videos for you to enjoy in the next couple of days. Unforunately I have been unwell with a cold so I haven't had chance to do very much. Thank you for watching!
Beautiful music and film footage. Loved the candles with the boughs and ribbons along the staircase! A blessed Christmas to everyone.
And to you too! A big house to decorate!
Thank you Justin for another lovely video, always look forward to your videos. Hopefully there will be some dry days after Christmas we can get in the garden and tidy up. Looking forward to Spring and some snowdrops, have a Happy Christmas and New Year.
A iovely video, thank you Justin for this and all the others. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
You're welcome, and hope you have a lovely time this Christmas!
Thank you for filming all the lovely videos for us Justin. Hope you and your mum have a Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
And to you too, have a great time, there is so much to look forward to next year!
How lovely Justin. Thank you for this. Merry Christmas and a Happy New year ❤🎉
Merry Christmas to you too, I hope you have a lovely time!
Hi Justin, I'm so glad you're back! 😃 Suddenly I see there are a few videos on your channel, which I'm certain I never received a notification for because I would have watched them if I had. Perhaps with your gap the algorhythm etc dropped you (fickle thing that it is!). 🤨
What a beautiful - and opulent! - place; although they definitely weren't encouraging dinnertime conversation at that table... 😂🤣
And now I also want a Christmas tree in my bedroom!! 🎄😁 (Good luck with getting that right!)
Anyway, I'm glad you're back, and hope you had a happy and peaceful Christmas too. May 2024 be a beautiful and prosperous year for you and your mum. Now let me see what else is waiting to be watched! ☺️🌺
Hello, thanks for your lovely comments, I have been off for a little bit while the house was being seen to and there was scaffolding spoiling the garden. I don't really know how youtube works other than sometimes my videos either do nothing or go crazy. I thought I better make a new video and so have done one on my artwork, then back to gardening next time! I hope this year is going well for you so far, Spring is in the air at last!
