I was wondering where y’all were at. I agree with you though! After graduating with my undergrad I felt so lost and I had no idea what to do next. I didn’t want to just go for a job I didn’t really like and be “stuck” there for YEARS. I volunteered at different places and observed people in their career to see if it’s something I can see myself doing. Life is waaaay too short. It’s important that you can find something that you enjoy doing while making $. I def didn’t want to be in a job 20-30 years in and hate it to be begin with. That’s not the life you wanna live! ✨👏🏽
yes!! i feel like a lot of people don’t really consider this and just jump into something simply because they want money (which is fair, especially if you aren’t in a place of privilege like i am), but they don’t actually consider how taking the job will impact their future in the sense of what doors it’ll open or close off for them.
