I'm honestly terrified that if Sam and Max's recent growth in popularity gets the cartoon rebooted it'll be aimed at kids, the original cartoon was too but the censorship back then wasn't as strong, and they still made hidden adult jokes so it was still good. Full on, if a reboot is made for kids now, it WONT be good, because everything that makes Sam and Max Sam and Max is everything that will be cut for the sake of keeping it child friendly
I hope it would be an adult show so the people that actually remember it can still laugh

i know it isn’t the point of the video but thank you so much for putting accurate captions on the video. i have a very hard time correctly processing sounds and images so captions and lip reading is sometimes easier for me than connecting voices to lip movement (or god help me if there are voices off screen) and such ! it makes it so much easier to enjoy the video. many thanks !

Why does the show have a different voice actor but all of the games have the same guy?
Every iiteration of sam and max has had different voice actors! And it’s only the telltale games that have the same actors - hit the road also had other actors.
Also the cartoon was made in the 90’s while the telltale games were made in the mid 2000’s, so that could play a part too.
There really isn’t any specific reason it’s just like that lol
also to add, s1ep1 of the telltale game has a different voice actor than the rest of the telltale games, i think somewhere it said something about scheduling conflicts for the first VA
