Only on edges initially…after fully knocked…play 2-3 matches and than apply on bottom also

Vicki bhai, great information. You have shown a bat which have done taping at the wrong time. Also please show a bat which is ready for taping & threading. Because beginners can't understand if the grains are opened or not. It will be so helpful for beginners.

Bhai, as you said, there is no need to use fibre sheet on the bat face untill its fully open. But if I'm playing early morning games with dew around or in some time, we continue playing in wet weather. Well, for not using fibre tape on bat face make is more vulnerable to water damage?
