This docu series follows young women as they audition every week for a chance to become part of an elite college dance team and to perform on the field with one of the most famous bands in the south.
HBCU majorette dance routines have long been a unique blend pop culture. Flashy moves, glittery costumes and show-stopping performances set these majorette dance teams apart from the best of the colleges with a unique style,
life experiences, and combining teamwork, sportsmanship, drill and dance together with entertainment.

The sad part about it is a lot of people feel that way but families refuse to acknowledge that it’s always oh she’s a drama queen or oh I don’t recall that as if her feelings aren’t valid all the while you are destroying an entire person

😳 Kids commit suicide over this everyday yet she’s here inspiring others. Thankfully she overcame the bullying. You’re phenomenal Charity and blessed. 💖
I can def relate to Charity. I still go through that. Her part made me cry.
My aunt lied on me saying I outed my cousin as gay when I never did. Her daughters and 5 other family members came to my home to jump me. Even though I'm 4'11 I still held my ground. I have sickle cell disease and March 2017 I was found unresponsive and remained in a coma for 5 days. Not only did they say I should've died in a coma but they also called me a drug addict....
Sometimes family are worse than ppl off the street. I haven't spoken to them since 2018 and I don't plan on it.
Success will be my revenge. God said to forgive not that I had to be around them.

It’s so nice to see Lyric really grow into her voice. At the first episode I felt she was almost too kind in her vocal projections in the team but it was probably the camera crew because she really does work hard as captain. I enjoy watching these ladies work for what they enjoy and I hope to see Charity be named captain in the series! She would make a great captain following after Lyric.
