Cleaning the inside of a copper bottle:
Fill the copper bottle with equal parts of water and vinegar, leaving some space for the solution to move around.
Add a tablespoon of salt to the solution and stir it well.
Close the bottle tightly and shake it vigorously for a minute or two.
Leave the solution inside the bottle for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
Empty the solution and rinse the bottle with clean water thoroughly.
You can also clean the inside of a copper bottle with lemon juice and salt. Mix equal parts of lemon juice and salt to form a paste and apply it to the inside of the bottle. Leave it on for a few minutes and rinse it off with water.
Cleaning the outside of a copper bottle:
Make a paste of Pitambari powder and water.
Apply the paste to the outside of the copper bottle and scrub it gently with a soft-bristled brush.
Rinse the bottle with water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
If Pitambari powder is not available, you can use a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda to clean the outside of the bottle.
Tips for cleaning a copper bottle:
Clean the copper bottle regularly to prevent the formation of a greenish layer inside.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or steel wool pads as they can scratch the surface of the copper.

@@BrindabanIntartik-wz3ye external surfaces of copper water bottle are many times lacquer coated for aesthetic reasons, hence bottle may not be discolored from outside.
But it will not be coated from inside, so it should get blackened if you keep it moist for sometime (don't fill it with water, but just moist it.. Means fill with water and remove water) & it should get blackened in 3-4 hours... Showing it's copper
should we drink copper water full year or give some months gap in between.
Personally I don't give any gap in drinking water from copper vessel or bottle

If it's regarding external surface, then try to keep it dry
Also in coastal area, it's bound to happen whatever you do due to moisture in air
