Watched it 10 times during covid 1st lockdown. Everything about the movie , the story , characters and music background. Brilliant absolutely brilliant
When I was younger maybe 16 17 years old I loved westerns I was also addicted to this theme tune it’s awesome. I love the dollars trilogy too all Sergio leone movies have a great soundtrack
Ennio Morricone took a great film and made it even greater with his music. The role that background music can play in making a film great can not be overstated.
@vestiphobe Well, I kind of ment that for the movies Ennio made music for also. Those movies were and still are very remembered here in America. When I was a kid my Dad had bought all the vinyl records to what we called "Spaghetti Westerns" and we even saw The Good The Bad and the Ugly and the Fistfull of Dollar movies at the drive in theater :)
I hear you brother same here.. reminds me of happier times when my dad was still alive. He took me to this film every year when i was young. It rotated in one theatre where i grew up
Same here. I’m only 26 now, but remember watching this with my father who passed in 2021. This song threw me through an emotional whirlwind to hear it again.
Great underrated western with a great soundtrack that manages to capture both the fun loving nature of the film and melancholic feel of it's dying of the West allegory.
I still have a triple LP collection of the original Morricone soundtracks to all of his westerns and more. His music is some of the most beautiful and unique sounds of all time. Inspiring. Great movie and it doesn't get enough recognition and air time.
As with all things Ennio Morricone was involved in. Master Piece. Love this movie. I was a teenager when I first saw it. Listening to rock and roll, partying, not much interested in western movies at all. Then late one night, this film explodes onto my TV. My love for western movies is still strong today. This movie is a classic.
Happy memories with my father because of this movie. I remember those joyful days with true family... Sad that these memories are slowly fading over the years. But this one is something i will always love because of my old man.
@@angc1456 Unfortunate but true. Ennio had way more depth, uniqueness and originality than most of his and this generation. His music was always a consistent character in movies he worked in. The directors allowed him that space in interludes and backgrounds for they knew that they were working with an ever-creative legend who can lift his/her movie do greater heights and bind the script like no other.
I really love this movie and character, probably the first cowboy movie I have ever watched. Ennio made it perfect with the soundtrack as always, never heard such a cheery and lovable theme song, very fitting.
It does a good job of showing what a carefree nature Nobody has. He just does what he does out of a dream he saw when he was a child of his hero triumphing over 150 of those dang dirty bastards.
I loved this movie as a little kid. I watched it again in my 40's and it wasn't nearly as fun as I remembered it. Time has a way of washing things out. Great cast though and Ennio Marconi was a treasure.
R.I.P. Ennio :( There are not enough words to tell about what you have done for the world of music. You are immortal like your friend Sergio. You are always in our hearts.
Hey, Leute! Today i have lost my hinduistic religion! Fein Ciao gesagt zu Hanuman & Shiva! Dieser geniale Farfalle Western, mit der genialen Musik, verursacht mir immer sooo tiefgruendig melancholische Leiden! Eure Jule Lissi!
Ennio Morricone is incomparable... the spaghetti westerns would be dull without his beautiful music... My names is nobody... the good the bad and the ugly For a few dollars more... etc. Just genius

RIP Ennio you genius. You brought much joy to my ears.
The crazy thing is how good the quality is.
@@bernardodiehl8699 Probably filmed in 70 MM. Can't beat that quality..
My favorite theme song from childhood. Even after 1/2 a century it brings me youthful joy to hear it.
One of the BEST movies I've seen for it's genre. Terence Hill did a fantastic job on his part, Fonda as well!
Ennio Morricone took a great film and made it even greater with his music. The role that background music can play in making a film great can not be overstated.
As he did indeed with all films I have seen. Reason why The Good Band and the Ugly was so cool for for me.
Star Wars and Jaws would of been forgotten back in the 70s if it hadn't been for John Williams.
R.I.P., Ennio Morricone. You shall be missed.

@@maximvsdread1610 Also, a trial run of The Three Stooges was dull without the sound effects.
im 49 my dad introduced me to these films in the late 70;s and 80's i got a little emotional hearing that theme again

One of the best (comedy) Western Spaghetti movie I ever watched, good job Mister !
Great underrated western with a great soundtrack that manages to capture both the fun loving nature of the film and melancholic feel of it's dying of the West allegory.
I simply LOVE this movie and the soundtrack stays forever. Thank you, Mr. Ennio Morricone. RIP ...
This film and the title track are embedded in my heart and mind since i first saw this as a kid on tv in the mid 70s.....Classic!
RIP, Ennio Morricone, and thank you for all of the incredible soundtracks!
Just saw this movie for the first time, i had it in my queue for years. Absolutely loved it.
This theme song is masterpiece. When I watched this movie as a child, I wasn't able to fully appreciate the beauty of the music. Now I do.
I never would've imagined that a flute could've been used in a western, but Ennio Morricone kept surprising me.
It's a recorder
It's oboe
Nvm it's ocarina
Não é um oboé
Great movie, R.I.P. Ennio Morricone, you are the greatest! Thanks!
It's a long time since I heard this tune. Great film clip. I'm inspired to track down this 70's film to view. Thanks.

It is unfortunate that most people don't know about Ennio. What a legend. If there should ever be a religion, it should be for the grand master Ennio.
Agreed
@@truthprevails276 AGREED all young people knows who Hans Zimmer is, but not Ennio Morricone... Ennio is 100 times better than Zimmer.

Beautiful song to a wonderful movie

Greatest movie that most people know nothing about
Fantastica colonna sonora! Una delle sue più allegre. Un capolavoro.
Ennio Morricone is one of the only componists who has written moviemusic you can enjoy without any movie, wtf

Only difference is, "Marconi" invented the Radio over 100 years ago, and Morricone was a musician. Lol..
Love Terence Hill's movies... especially the spaghetti westerns!!!
Wow my cat loves the music!!! 🤠
Замечательная мелодия Эннио Морриконе. Искромётные роли Теренса Хилла и Генри Фонды. Браво маэстро!
I never get enough of this music
Same here x
Terence Hill was the God of my youth…
mestre Ennio you transformed my life from the age of 12 in 1977....RIP you are missed
One of the best even though underrated by some who don't appreciate this type of music.
Watched long ago at theatre. Now bought a disc .
Such an underrated movie.
In Italy and Germany is popular but in the rest on the world don't think . Bud & Terence film in general ( I love those flims btw )

U must have emigrated from a jungle ? This is a masterpiece boy
They were popular in Taiwan when "My name is nobody" and "They call me Trinity" were released in 197x.
Hilarious… me and my brother used to watch all the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies as kids in PNG..
This song brings light to darkness. It always makes me happy 🙂
Terence Hill - absolutely gorgeous and brilliantly funny, too 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
