today a mosque near my house, announced and educated people on up coming elections to devotees gathered for friday meetings. Started with importance of election,vote, how and where to get their voting slips etc. They not only encouraged them to caste their vote also told them to influence their family and friends to vote. Finally asked them to vote for congress! Tell me how many temples are involved in such social causes? We lack this camaraderie hence kashmir files , kerala files happen. Give devil its due.
Note: I was able to hear this due to loudspeakers, which "officially" should be playing at much lower volume.
