Nice to see that the local council hasn't slapped any restrictions on light model flying there at Yarra Bend Park Dave. We're lucky here way out in the bush, but in many places you need a permit to scratch yourself these days!
Yeah, I fly in an area that is designated “Dogs on Lead”, although this is not strictly observed by the locals. There are lots of other good sports ovals nearby and they are dogs off the lead, so I usually steer clear of them. I try and keep a low profile and only fly when there are very few people around. I use a couple of apps on my phone to ensure I don’t fly in prohibited areas as well. I’m keeping an eye on trends overseas for restricting remotely piloted aircraft and hope it doesn’t come to that here!

At $50 im not sure this plane is worth upgrading i think its more of a trainer..i have been enjoying mine but its not something i would put money into unless i had parts just laying around
Hi, yeah, I had to replace the motors in mine as they had burnt out. Even though it’s just a little trainer, it’s good to have to help others give flying a try. It was a fun exercise replacing the motors and the 1020 Strong motor gave a lot more thrust and didn’t sound so much like an electric toothbrush!
